Calming Care, keeping my floors clean and our Sanity intact!
My senior greyhound, a retired service dog was communicating his distaste for certain situations by pooping on the floor inside. He would see another dog he didnt get to go say hello to and boom! There's what he thinks about that! There seemed to be no end to his poor communication style until I started giving him these packets! About a week and a half into him eating this over his food and I said, man Gears has been pretty good lately. We are almost an entire month in and there have been no incidents. I'd say accidents but they were definitely not accidental poops. Lol! Great product! If your dog is being weird in a bad way, and there is nothing medically wrong, it could just be that they have anxiety. Give this product at least 3 weeks to see if you notice a difference but in some cases you may notice a difference sooner! 100% worth it to keep my dog wanting to be on his best behavior!

More content less velcro dog, enjoys his own activities more vs constant velcro to us.
Works great daily or during possible.higher stress days ( like week of fireworks. We see overall calmer demeanor, less agitating, less neediness (like still in same room with us but enjoying toys and looking out windows vs more frequent attachment behavior. Seems more content.

Surprised these actually work for my doberman
The media could not be loaded. We have tried many calming agents for our rescue Doberman, who was kidnapped for a month, and someone returned him to us. He always had anxiety, but since the kidnapping, his anxiety has been insane. We tried various calming things for him, but nothing did the trick. Our Vet recommended this, and we've been using it for a few months now and truly notice the difference. Actually, we stopped it for a few days, and he crazy again and only calmed down when we sprinkled this in his food. So, I highly recommend this to anybody who is looking for a non-pharmaceutical solution to help calm their dog down. Our dog even loves it and does a little happy dance when he sees us sprinkle it in his bowl! We even have a subscription.Pros:-Noticable difference in calmness in our anxious, hyperactive Doberman-Dog enjoys taste-Vet recommendedCons:-Slightly expensive

My dog loves the flavor
I have a Yorkie and I think it is helping his digestion (but he also started a prescription dog food at the same time) and I am not sure how much calmer he is. It isn’t a miracle product but he likes it and I kept him on it for two months every day.and now I give it to him every other day but if I know thunderstorms are in the forecast or I will be gone for a while I make sure to give it to him so maybe it is helping😂. It is pricey so give it a fair amount of time and then decide.

Great product
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Calming Care was suggested by my veterinarian. We took our German Shepherd to have her checked, because she was randomly deciding to nip at people making deliveries. (We now have to pick up our packages at FedEx). She is getting older and we wanted to make sure she was okay. We changed her dog food to pro plan salmon. The vet said either turkey or salmon because they are low-key animals. I do believe the combination has really helped she has been on it for 2 months and seems a lot more mellow.

Didn't work for my dog, but glad it helps others'
I have a very high-strung Corgi, and after a month of using this product, it had no effect on his behavior. That doesn't make the product bad, just that it didn't work on my pooch. It's effectiveness likely depends on what's causing your dog's excitability. Reading other reviews, it seems to work well for many, but I'll have to keep looking.

Works for anxiety on the 4th
I started this in June because my dog had real bad firework anxiety. She's almost 11 so I'm just afraid she's going to work herself into a seizure.I've tried other anxiety treats and they don't really workThis year she still had her fearBut there was no shaking and at one point she actually fell asleep

Works well but this is TOO HIGHLY PRICED, same as Probiotics Bifidobacterium Longum BB536
This probiotic works VERY WELL in perhaps most dogs. We are so much a product of what is colonizing our guts, human and beast alike! We don't even realize that what we eat AFFECTS WHAT WE THINK (this is an entire field of research and it is fascinating and well established!)This is a HIGHLY DESIRED PROBIOTIC, butPURINA IS CHARGING TOOOO MUCH FOR THIS PROBIOTIC ...(current pricing January 2024 is over a dollar a day! Available in January 2024 in other packaging for less than 25 cents per day!)...simply because of their name, the perceived exclusive access, and some broth flavoring.>>>Instead, search forProbiotics Bifidobacterium Longum BB536...Available here on Amazon, and save yourself a lot of money, and send a message to Purina that we consumers can research medical literature and figure out that Bifidobacterium Longum BB536 is the EXACT SAME probiotic! Some bacteria have been given a different name in the past to now, the same as plants can have more than one botanical name -- actually they have an older name and a corrected updated name.It is common for example in te plant trade for nurseries to not give up an old botanical name and yet current scientific literature has the new botanical name. So one must know both names to learn accurate information about such particular plants. That is what is happening here.Research it for yourself if you desire on Google Scholar and other published science search sites. It did take me a day of research to figure it out, but I had a hunch that since I could not find this name ANYWHERE --- WHY IS THAT??? -- that there was perhaps another name at play. Why would Purina be the ONLY access to a particular probiotic??!!! That answer is: THEY ARE NOT THE ONLY ACCESS.And what else is happening here is that Purina has found a lifesaving control for anxious pets, and priced it obscenely high.Search for BB536 and save yourself a heap of money. Break open the capsules and sprinkle on pet's food.Watch their calmness levels increase.Highly recommend the probiotic. I do use other of Purina's products for quality at a decent price.Wake up Purina and stop gouging the public.
