1 or 2 way operation, if using 2 way then the second switch MUST be a reactive switch not a standard on/off 2 way switch. Max load 300w, minimum 60w. DO NOT connect more than 1 dimmer switch in any circuit. Dimmable low voltage transformers ? This dimmer switch uses leading edge (phase delay) operation and must only be used with compatible electronic or magnetic wire wound transformers, it MUST NOT be used with trailing edge (phase cut) transformers. These are manufactured by GET to BS EN60669-2-1. Halogen bulbs, in the case of halogen bulbs you should double the load when rating the switch, i.e. 100w of halogen should be calculated as 200w for rating purposes. Low energy lighting cannot be dimmed with this switch. LED bulbs usually cannot be dimmed as they take such a low load they fall under the minimum requirement.
