Brilliant book as a long-term fnaf fan
I’ve liked FNAF since it first came out, always wanted to read the novels to see what kind of substance it offered to the rather sparse timeline, and it did not disappoint. Seeing what really happened and having actual characters with stories and motivations was brilliant, Charlie setting the springlocks off was badass, 10/10 for this book.

Well done Scott and Kira
A very mind-blowing book written by Scott. It does show that it is written by him and on the whole there is this element of anxiety, mystery and fear and to me, I felt like I was not only reading a very interesting novel, but also imagining a movie playing in my head. Even though the lore behind it is not canon, it certainly gives the viewer a sense of what is really happening; some pieces do connect if you work them out and place the strategically as well. To me who's a big FNAF nerd, how the novel started was amazing and I bet that even if I give this to my family and they don't even know what the story is about, I'm sure they will understand immediately!I cannot wait for Five Nights at Freddy's: The Twisted Ones and the official guide book this summer! Really loving Scott and Kira's work!

A brilliant story
I absolutely love the full FNAF franchise, and have followed it along from the beginning. I loved the way Scott built such an immense amount of mystery within the games, and I find this book just fits in with them all perfectly. So what if it doesn't link up exactly with every single aspect of the games? The familiarity is still there with the book, and now with Sister Location out, it just makes this book so much more exciting. It does still leave a load of other questions in my mind, but at least now the mystery of purple guy can be laid to rest, even if it wasn't necessarily the explanation most fans of the series were looking for.As far as building suspense goes, this book does it superbly. That feeling of just waiting for the animatronics to move, knowing that they aren't safe, it makes it a real page-turner.I'd definitely recommend to everyone to give this book a chance and have fun reading it, you won't be disappointed!

Pleasantly Surprised, Great Read!
I was really pleasantly surprised by this book. It's well written and engaging, and I ended up reading it all in one day! I was a little worried at first that it might end up reading badly, as I know of Scott only as a game developer and not a writer, but it really is well-structured, well-written, and overall easy and enjoyable to read.As is Scott's norm, a lot of things are quite mysterious and never quite 100% explained, but it is a good, satisfying story that doesn't leave any major loose ends that you'll find yourself wondering about like the games do. That said, it is an alternate canon, so it doesn't quite answer all the questions of the games. Regardless, it's a great read, very interesting, and if you're a fan of the games then I would really recommend this book!!

Well worth the read, for mature fans of FNaF and people new to the story
Fantastic book! It's weird to see the FNaF story built into a real-life scenario that's written with full fleshed characters and a gripping tale of one girl and her beloved father. The book starts out slowly, setting the scene and the build up through the middle act is played perfectly, around 3/4 of the way through the book, the tension is palpable until the whole world comes crashing down around this point. It's a wonderfully written novel with hints of comedy, love, life, loss and most importantly it feels real, you can really fall into Utah and you feel the tiny village of Hurricane around you as you read. This book brought me back into FNaF, it is not a children's book and is definitely AT LEAST maturely rated, so do not worry if you feel like this book will be child oriented. It is not!

Five Nights at Freddy's: The Silver Eyes - Good Story, well worth reading
Five Nights at Freddy's: The Silver Eyes is a good story that tried to explain the already complicated lore behind the Five Nights at Freddy's game series and does so with out too much blood and gore. Taking place in 1995 it follows some teenagers whose town the infamous pizzeria came from. Join them in a mystery that continues to shake your mind as they uncover Scott Cawthon's mysterious child murderer 'The Purple guy'The book is well written and whilst it has a few differences from the games it tells a good story as to who the owners were and gives some identity as towards two of the murdered children were from the game. For those who follow the games the book is set before Five Nights at Freddy's 3.
