Braun All-in-One Men's Shaving Kit Series 9 9440, 13-in-1 Beard, Face, Nose, Ear Trimmer, Hair Clippers, Body Groomer and Manscaping

(This was written after about three months of use.)I have a thick beard and was looking for something beyond the typical 10mm lengths. This fit that bill spectacularly. I tried or evaluated a few alternatives (Philips, Wahl, other Brauns, and some smaller brands) and found them all lacking in some key metric or usage. I would absolutely recommend this option, even at the higher price point.Pros:- Strong motor has no issues cutting a lot of hair with single pass- Battery lasts a while without charging, and the charge indicator is a really helpful detail- Accessories cover everything I need without a lot of extras (certainly less than some alternative products, like the fancy Philips or Wahls)- Adjustable length guards are solid, don't bend, and I certainly don't notice any vertical wobble (meaning variation in the length while trimming), even with force applied.- Shaver attachment is better than my old one, and works reasonably well.- Easy to use. You might think this would be the default, but see my review of the Wahl I tried for how to fail at this.- Waterproof is the best thing ever. Not that I expected this to fail here, just saying how much I like this feature.Cons:- Trimming a line without the guards doesn't result in the sharpest line ever; the Wahl was much better here.- The shaver works, but it's not the best one ever (though of you're buying this for the shaver, maybe consider a dedicated electric razor)- I'm not sold on the necessity of the length-lock feature. Is this a con? Well, you pay more for it, so it is in that sense, but it definitely speaks to the quality of the attachment mechanism that it doesn't slip readily without the lock enabled. However, I'm betting that this will be more useful as the trimmer ages.- I have a similar feeling about the power-lock feature. Is this really a feature when there's a hard case? Not for me, personally.- The case is middling. It's a hard shell, which is really nice, but I cannot figure out how to nicely store more than the razor, two or three attachments, and the large length guard. Do I need more than that? Maybe not. But it's still a bit of a let down.- Charging with a standard plug instead of USB-C is disappointing. Though because the battery lasts so long, it's not a deal breaker.Overall, definitely a positive experience with this trimmer. Would recommend.

I just Love Braun products and this unit does Not disappoint. It trims with precision every time, keeps the charge forever and is the perfect size. I had ordered another brand to try but sent it back. I am a Braun fan forever! Would recommend!!

FINALLY I found the best! After searching forever, I found the best razor for me. Comfortable in my hand and on my face. Very good deal for all you get! Works well and the battery life is great. It's very easy to clean!

Works great. The only reason I did not give it five stars is the guard I use for my beard does not stay in the same spot. I pulled it off to wash it and put it back on. The next time I used it, it was too close to the skin and put a gap in my beard. I had to trim my beard super short to even it out. Now before every use I have to double check the length before I use it.

It’s quick and simple to use, and now I can get my hair looking just right without any hassle.

I decided to change my old trimmer I've been using for the last ten years or so. I wanted something I can use for my body, face and head (in this order of priority) and after some research I came to the conclusion that Braun series 9 will do the job.My first disappointment with it came when I opened the manual and found out that Braun doesn't think the balls are part of man's body. All-in-one, Braun?!? But don't use it on the delicate areas? Really? Isn't that exactly why I ordered something boldly named All-in-one?Then comes the body attachment itself - it has a plastic body and metal blade with a gap of at least half a millimeter between them. Needless to say the hair gets in the gap and inside the attachment where it gets stuck in the lubricant and can potentially block the whole thing.The motor is clearly underpowered and the results show it clearly - I had to repeat some areas several times to get satisfactory result. At the end it took me maybe twice as long as with my old trimmer which I will probably continue using even though I cut myself too often with it.Which I can also say about the Braun - it managed to cut me on a flat area during the first use.It doesn't end here though. The blade got very hot after less than ten minutes of use so I had to switch to another attachment to give the one for the body time to cool down. And that's the first use with the blade lubricated by the producer!The unit itself is made of cheap looking plastic and doesn't feel solid in hand.In a nutshell that's the first and last Braun I'm buying!

Great trimmer. I think any trimmer in any similar series is good. Gives me the best stubble look versus other trimmers
