These RJ45 headers are great HOWEVER Id recommend 22AWG+I bought cat6a cable that was 23AWG and they did not stay put in the boot prior to slipping on the head.They still worked out fine for me in the end after a little trial and error.Make sure your crimp tool has a cutter, makes your job much easier.

Making Cat5 connections is a breeze with this tool. I'm able to cut and clamp the connector with out the colored wires showing. I could get it pretty close with the last tool I bought, but this one makes it so easy. And it takes me half the time now too.

Do not buy if your using a 24AWG wire only works with thicker wire.

I gave up crimping a cable after the third of these connectors failed to pass a continuity test. To be fair, it may be the ratcheting crimper I'm using, but since it compresses other connectors correctly, but not these, well...

They installed easy and looked good. But had connection issues with about half abd to keep cutting off and reinstalling new ones until it worked.

It worked but it didn’t have the load bar as advertised..

I used these for a POE application. Assembling the connectors are really fiddly with the "plastic insert". The attachment of the ground to the housing is pretty loose as well without solder.I'm honestly buying a different shielded RJ45 and redoing these cables.
