I consider myself a connoisseur when it comes to smells of the Orient. I purchase high quality hand rolled incense from India and Tibet. As well as pure Amber resin etc. and after reading the negative reviews that this is not the correct smell, I thought “Shame On You!” for writing about something you know nothing about! And this IS what premium grade oils smell like and the scent they carry. Enlighten yourself on where they originate from and what is authentic. But I must remind myself not everyone who writes a review is truly knowledgeable about what it is they are discussing. One can not fault someone for being ignorant completely but if you are to write a review and say something is inauthentic or the “scent” is not correct, then maybe you should gain wisdom to what it is prior to writing something so derogatory that it could have a negative effect and influence on a company that is actually putting out Premium Grade oils for an amazing price and on Amazon for that matter! These oils are what perfumes are made from and you really did your home work Akara! Very very good product. I will continue to buy this over and over. Thank you!

I have an autoimmune disease and if I get a rash it can easily turn into something that looks worse than a third degree burn. I am very careful with skin care products as I have an arm full of scars from the one time I wasn't as cautious. In the US we are lucky to have regulated labeling laws as well as regulations on what can be called organic. I thought I was safe with this one as no where in the listing does it say it is made in China. Indeed it says it is from France! Wrong. Not only is it made in China where mislabelng is common, the ingredients are not listed on the bottle. On the box it says "do best essential oil". What the heck does that mean? I wanted to add it to unscented body cream and there is NO way I would use this. Who knows what is in, how it was processed or whether it is safe to use on the skin.Neither the box nor the bottle says where it is made. There was a little white sticker on the bottle which said made in China. The fact that the listing is purposely misleading means I will never use this stuff because if they lie on the listing who knows what is in the bottle?I wish Amazon would make sellers disclose where oils are made if they can't regulate the use of organic or essential oil. If it is made in the US I know there are laws regarding labels, product ingredients and purity so I am less likely to end up with a questionable product. I guess I should only buy the ones from the health store where I can look at product even if it costs ten times more.

This does not smell like anything almondy smells just like vanilla.

Very light, I make hard colognes and it makes a good base and stands up pretty well against other fragrances. That being said it's a very expensive base. Would suggest having it stand on it's own if you are using it for fragrance blends

This product has a light scent of styrax benzoin. In the past, I purchased other brands of the same scent for using it as a base for perfumes that had a stronger and longer lasting scent. Nonetheless, it still has a good many uses and it’s appealing to those who prefer a more subtle scent.

This the best scent ever I worked in Floral shops my favs are Stock, Freesia, and sterling silver Rose NOW I can add Ylang Ylang amazing scent
