Useful / Functional foldable rack, good for lightweight equipment
This is a useful, portable rack to hold a few (not too heavy) pieces of gear, if nothing else, just for organizational purposes, the rack is functional in the sense it's portable, foldable, but if your gear is such it's deep (length wise) this rack may not hold your gear all too well without falling back of being secured by additional means. The build for what it is, is acceptable, for a temporary rack, at a reasonable price, it's fine, but you wouldn't want to be using this rack for heavy (ie: broadcast) equipment, or anything you paid a lot for, which may risk falling down or becoming unsecured from the rack.Oh, they do include rack screws with the unit, that's a nice touch, so - again, for small, light weight equipment, it's fine, but I wouldn't be placing a crown amp on this rack for sure.

This is great for a musician or podcaster to set up control on your dek top.
a) Arrived well packaged and complete. b) Is fairly simple to assemble and includes instructions and all the hardware you need with some bonus screws. c) You might feel this is flimsy, but keep in mind the actual appliances you mount in here totally solidify it, as they become a brace for the unit itself. d) AFter you put it together, I discovered you can remove the two corner screws from frame and fold the unit very compact and relatively flat ( then you can insert the screws in the bottom of the frame through the same holes so you don't loose the screws) . This is great if you want to use it in a mobile setup. e) The screw inserts take a bit of force to get in the square hole, but they are firm and sturdy. I was thinking this is a bit spendy for 5 pieces of metal and some screws, but I see competitors prices are pretty straight across the board more expensive. A strong 4 stars rating on this

I would buy this product again
It's a solid heavy duty desktop rack that has rubber feet on the bottom.

The foundation of my branch office builds
This rack is amazing.I can fully populate it so the employees would need to actively disassemble the network to tamper with my equipment. They tend to not touch things where there are zero ports available.I populate mine with a 24-port switch, keystone patch panel, 24 1-foot Cat6 cables, and 2 power strips. Once built, it becomes a self-contained unit. Compare that to the usual disorganized mess of small switches and routers. I can simply box up and ship the entire unit to site.Once the rack is in place, the employees don’t attempt to modify it. They get their extra power outlets for phone chargers and I don’t have to think about anything else.

Good desktop stand for rack mount units
This is a nice stand for a 2U amplifier. I added a plywood base to make it easy to drag around on the desk and that really stiffened it up. Good price for what you get.

It works, but has some flaws.. Fixable at least.
Lets start off with, it works, it's the proper size and should be able to handle a smallish switch or two and a port bar. So it's fine. It also doesn't need to be put together, it just folds out, which was a pleasant surprise. Now the flaws..1) the "hinges" are tiny aluminum rivets, this is a weak point. If your going to put much on this, you'll have to replace those with screws or something. Easy to do, so no big deal, for me, I'm only running a port bar and a smallish switch, which will add plenty of strength, so it's fine2) this has the normal square rack mount slots... on the side.... I have to admit that i don't know why3) the screw holes on the front were tapped prior to powder coating, so you have to use a bit of force on the screws. This quickly cleans up, so it's not a big deal, but i'd rather have had them put the square holes on the front and not bother with anything like that on the side so i could use the normal rack nuts.As a mitigating factor of #3, it comes with screws that fit the holes well and they are sturdy enough that they wont' strip out while you you force the first few threads though until the powered coating comes off the tapped threads of the unit.OVERALL---While some of their choices are a bit of a head-scratcher, the price and design are very good. If i replace the silly little rivets with screws or better rivets, it easily beats out other units until you get to a much higher price point, and at that point the design is VERY strong and can probably hold more than anything less than twice the price, and will stand nicely on rubber feet wherever you put it. I'm almost happy that it's got these silly "features" as they could could easily charge much more and still be competitively priced with minor changes. So I'll happily save a bunch of money, and go with this one.Honestly, i can see myself ordering this for customers, with the plan to replace the rivets, as it's a GREAT deal and a great unit once that's done and your items are screwed into it. For this reason, i give it 4 stars overall.
