Best cat toy ever! I have 2 young indoor cats and regularly purchase a variety of new toys to keep them entertained. I've bought several rather expensive interactive toys that have held my cats attention for at best a few hours. This laser toy is an exception and from the first time I set it up for them, they have enthusiastically played with it. It's been about 3 weeks of daily use and they're still eager to play with it and will actually look for it and "complain" when I take it away for charging. The random pattern of movements of the laser makes this such a great design, other auto lasers I've seen/used basically just have back and forth circular movements which don't hold my cats attention for long. The trajectory of the laser can be changed by placing the device at different heights from the floor (the higher the device is placed the broader/longer the range of the laser beam gets). It's rechargeable and uses a standard usb-c cord. It does take a few hours to fully charge once it's dead, but it holds a charge all day with repeated play sessions throughout the day. Another great feature is that it can be used while charging. I purchased a second device for my son's home and all 3 of his cats are also obsessed with this toy, so unanimously it's been approved by every cat I've seen encounter it.

No reimbursements, refunds or compensation in-kind have been received.*My cats love this, and they are a tough crowd to please, so anytime something is a hit with them I am very happy (as I scan the sea of un-loved and un-played with cat toys spread across the living room). I also have a "1st generation" model as well but that never really caught on because it basically goes in a circle, sure it changed direction and speed but in the end it just goes in a circle which was its fatal flaw. Not only are my cats picky but they are smart. A few nights of maybe 15 minutes of play was all the original one was worth before they turned their noses up to it. However, this new randomized version is a totally different story (so far). It truly is random and not just mechanical back and forth motion either, it varies the speed along with trajectory, sometimes even coming to a complete stop for a few seconds to give them a chance to pounce. The way it moves the laser point around is moist comparable to that of a fly, which they also love, I imagine for much the same reasons. I have noticed they've figured out the laser is coming out of this device and seem a little less enthralled with it but I just put it away for a night or two and they start screaming for it back. The automated on/off cycle of like 15 min on/2 hours off (or something like that) is a very nice addition too, making it just right for their little attention spans and their natural zoom/sleep/zoom/sleep cycle. Plus, the battery life is actually pretty decent. Just make sure you charge it ahead of time because it is slow to charge, like several hours. Let's hope for a couple of years of play before the battery naturally runs down.

Hours of fun! Definitely keeps the cats entertained. It seems durable enough the only thing I would suggest is to put it somewhere up high where there's not a ton of furniture as the Lazer gets obstructed.Other than that it's the perfect size and worth the purchase!

Works as advertised and cats enjoy it. Battery could be a bit better, but can't expect more for 20 bucks.

I've only had this a few days, so the newness hasn't worn off yet, but at least for right now, my cats love this toy! I love that it's not dependent on me to turn it on for them too. They get more play time throughout the day (and night) since it comes on automatically. Even if they get bored with it, it was worth the money for the play they're getting now.

This toy is awesome, my cat loves it. the modes are easy to get to and it just works. The battery life is not great and it only auto activates once in a 2 hour period. Meaning, if the cat walks by at 12 pm, its active and showing the laser for 15 minutes, then it simply will not do anything for at least 2 hours before the sensor reactivates. You can turn it on manually but that would defeat the point.. And the battery only lasts for 3 cycles before you have to charge it. and it cant be used while charging. 3 stars. Can still recommend. OH and there is no adjustability for how far the laser goes, if you have a smaller place, be prepared that it will go up the walls and on furniture. the circle it mask is not adjustable at all. You get what you get.

Very happy with my purchase. My cat really enjoys the lazer light & it keeps her engaged & entertained for quite sometime. The lazer has a good range of motion with going in an unpredictable pattern with different speeds to pick from. It also very quiet where I don't hear that it is on.

Both my cats enjoy this. It's set in the living room and the laser hits the floor and some furniture as well. I thought that would be an issue, but it's better then not. This way the cats lose sight of it then comes back and the jump to get it, or they jump on the furniture to play.The battery does not last long for me so I leave it plugged in. I had a larger but more flexible cord and just leave it in the unit and outlet, so it continues all day. Great toy!!
