Had a problem with "ghost touches" with my radio. Stations would randomly change on it's own frequently to the point where I just turned it off. Been dealing with it for about a year. Read a bunch of forums that mentioned this and a majority of people mentioned replacing the digitizer. So, I purchased this for $32 to try it. Figured it was better than the $190 diagnostic fee at the dealership, which isn't a guarantee that they'll figure it out or won't rip you off! Took about 45 min. o remove and replace. Very easy to do. It's beem only 2 days but I haven't had any "ghost touches" since. It's shinier and isn't a matte finish like the factory but I don't mind. The main thing is that it worked and fixed my problem.

The media could not be loaded. The 8in touchscreen in my 2016 silverado was very problematic. Most of the screen didn't respond and sometimes it would start clicking all over the place on its own. I'm fairly handy so I thought this would be a simple project to take on. It was a straight forward installation but it takes some patience and care. The most difficult part of the swap was removing the old digitizer from the soft aluminium carrier. With a heat gun and goo gone it was easy but took time to clean it up to install the new touchscreen. I'm very happy with the results. The touchscreen works flawlessly now. It's very snappy and I don't have any miss clicks. I recommend this product without hesitation. Tools for this installation: strong plastic pry tool, T15 bit, 7mm socket, drill, heat gun, goo gone and an abrasive sponge. 1 - 1.5 hour installation time. Most of the time was spent cleaning up the carrier so the adhesive strips on the new touchscreen would bond well. Good luck!

So far is working excellent like a brand new radio. A lot cheaper than $500 plus that the dealer wanted for a brand new radio that I would have to install myself anyway. There’s plenty of videos on YouTube to show you how to do it yourself.

Works great and already has the adhesive tape on the glass. 4 stars only due to the higher glare in the sun versus rh OE

I was having a bad ghost touch issue where screen would constantly move no matter if it was on radio randomly changing stations, or on my nav screen moving it to who knows where. Dealer told me $250 to diagnose and said avg of $1500 to fix issue with the infotainment system (2018 GMC Sierra). This touch screen fixed my issue for less than $50!!! I couldn't be happier, install was easy after watching a couple youtube vids. Screen is glossier than the factory one and has a tad bit more reflection, but that works fine for me so its not a negative. Overall very happy with the screen.

2018 GMC SIERRA SLT. Screen was having a mind of its own and selecting whatever it wanted. This fixed that issue.Watched one 10min youtube video and it was an easy repair.Tools needed; Nylon Trim Removal tool, Razor blade, Torx 15, 7mm socket and wrench, Heat Gun/ Hair Drier.

I like that it came quickly with nice packaging.I dislike that my ghosting issue is still present, but less lines of ghost. I can touch the screen, but it goes to different locations.

Worked perfectly in my 2016 Suburban. Fixed my intermittent and sometimes non-responsive factory touchscreen. The only thing I should mention is that this replacement screen is glossy vs the factory matte screen. Personally I like it, the screen seems sharper now. It took about an hour and a half to do the swap and calibrate the screen. Just take your time doing it.

So far so good! Installed for 4 days now and works great! Fixed the problem of the old screen jumping around on its own.

The media could not be loaded. No down side to this screen. Quality is great nice and clear unlike the last one I replaced 2 years ago foggy screen. You want a new screen this is the one to buy. Ghost touch gone a so clear. I’m would say better than factory
