I grabbed this on a deal since I’ve been frustrated that the other white noise machine we got for our baby doesn’t have an “always on” feature, and I’m very happy with it. It’s small, which will make it easy to take along when we travel, and I love that it’s rechargeable, so we don’t have to go hunting for batteries. I could do with a few more “deeper” tone sounds, since some of the options are a little busy/high pitched for my tastes, but there are enough good ones available, and I’m probably just going to keep it set on one or two favorites anyways.So far, it’s lasted through a couple naps and an all night use before needing to go on the charger. But ironically, it was when the battery died that it really won me over! This thing didn’t just die and shut off. When it ran out of power, the volume did a slow, gradual fade-out until it finally went quiet. This is such a thoughtful design, and absolutely makes the difference for anyone who knows how babies can be jolted out of sleep when a sound soother suddenly cuts off. Very happy with it out of the box, and hopefully it stands up to the rigors of use over time.
