Great product
Seems the negative reviews on here are uninformed as to how to grow “bare root” trees. I purchased the 10 pack twice. All came as expected. I immediately separated each rooted stem and placed them in a cool bucket of water overnight. Then, I planted each of them in a 10” pot with well drained soil, careful to not break any roots. I did this by filling the pot with the roots already in there, gently and compressing the soil around the roots… again gently. After a few weeks, every single one began to bud. I will plant them in the ground once the leaves come in. Even got an extra tree in one of the packs and it also began to bud. Great product.

What I Received - As Advertized
Attached are photos of what I received. I planted them immediately and will keep this review updated with progress. Will raise to 5 stars if they survive.

Wanted a blooming smaller tree
Looking forward to some visible growth. Didn’t want a lot of shade. Wanted a flowering tree that not everyone on our block has. Since the shoots are only sticks in the ground this year, we thought we should protect them from deer and rabbits. It would have been nice if you had made rabbit protectors available at the time of purchase. All we could find online were huge amounts of rabbit protectors for much bigger plants. We used the cardboard tubes on the inside of rolls of paper toweling. We covered them with plastic tape and pushed them into the soil a bit. It’s at least some protection.

Odds against growth
I planted the 10 dry root trees. As of today only 1 tree is living.

6 out of 6 are growing
I’ll admit after reading reviews I was worried. I got a bundle of 6 and planted them in various areas around the property playing the odds that only a few Would grow. Well all six have sprouted leaves after planting in May 2024, placed cages around them for protection. SomeRabbits like to eat the leafs but they coming back healthy and strong. Water them every three days. No fertilizer used just regular soil and water. The wife is super happy which makes my life even better.
