Many reviews don’t mention this but no palm or rapeseed oil is a big +
Long story short: I bought these at £9 for 12. At that price, it’s great. I would say though. If they’re above £14, look at the other options (I’d personally pick grenade but ON or huel are good, if they’re at similar prices or even lower than these bars)Got the cookies and cream flavour. They taste decent for a flapjack. I’d say I’d still prefer the taste and texture of a grenade bar but for not having any palm or rapeseed oil is defo a plus. Has got vegetable oil but it is also half the price of most of the Grenada bars. It’s essentially a slightly cookies and cream tasting flapjack with a very slight stingy aftertaste (good sting though). Size is decent. It’s more dense than something like a grenade bar. Has slightly higher sugar but I’d say it helps it. Fibre is good, about 7.2g. Not too high in sugars. I’ve definitely seen bars with more but then again not on the grenade level of about 2, this has 3g.Overall, I’d say most reviews are too harsh on it since they’re expecting a more traditional protein bar (think your PHDsmart’s, Grenades and optimum nutrition) and it’s not as ‘chocolatey’ as those but still tastes good and I would give it 4.5 stars and rounds to 5

This is what a protein bar SHOULD be!
I've been on the hunt for a decent protein bar for what feels like an eternity. Most are either rock-solid, taste like sweetened cardboard, or are secretly loaded with sugar. I'd almost given up, but then I tried the Warrior Raw Protein Flapjack in Red Velvet Cake flavour, and honestly, it's a total game-changer.From the moment I opened the wrapper, I knew this was different. It has a soft, chewy, proper flapjack texture – not the dense, chalky block I was expecting. And the flavour is just fantastic. It genuinely tastes like a Red Velvet cake, with a lovely, rich chocolatey base and a creamy, sweet topping. It feels like a proper treat, not a fitness chore. What's really blown me away is how they've packed 20 grams of protein into this and kept the sugar down to just a few grams. It's the perfect post-workout snack to help my muscles recover, but I've also found myself grabbing one in the afternoon to kill off those sweet cravings and keep me full until dinner. At 75g, it's a substantial bar that actually satisfies my hunger, making it a brilliant, guilt-free meal replacement when I'm in a rush. It’s also great to know that they're made right here in the UK and are HFSS compliant, so I can be confident I'm getting a quality product. If you’re fed up with disappointing protein bars and want something that's genuinely delicious, incredibly satisfying, and hits all the right nutritional marks, you absolutely have to try this. It's my new go-to, and I can't recommend it enough!

Indulgent recharge
I am an older guy who still works out with a regime of cardio 3 times a week (stepper/exercise bike) weights (up to 50kg) a couple of sessions of aquarobics for cardio and low impact and I walk around 50k steps a week. Nothing serious, but enough for a 70 year old.So why do I need these bars? Actually I don't, but I find that during workouts I have benefited from enjoying a whey protein shake to help keep muscle tone and I have now started to supplement this with the occasional protein based energy bar. To be honest, I don't think that anything replaces a balanced meal, but sometimes after a workout, enjoying one of these bars is better than eating a chocolate bar or similar, particularly when time is of the essence.I am not sure whether they boost my energy level at all, primarily as I have trained for years and as I have said twice, I am getting on a bit. There is more sugar and carbs than I like, but if it is just protein you require, you might be better off eating a chicken breast! Purchasing from Amazon on Subscribe and Save represents even better value than the already competitive price for a single purchase so good value for money. The size is about right for me and combined with some fruit is sufficient for a light lunch.Overall a decent poduct and these taste ok. A good degree of fibre, vitamins and trace minerals. Worth considering as a "naughty snack" after a workout, or a part of a protein focussed diet.

Nutrition is great and they are filling, but don't taste very nice.
Nutrition is great, they are very filling, but the taste is definitely too artificial, they all kind of taste the same, a tiny bit cardboard-y and chalky. But they are passable and not bad. Would be useful for travel or intense workouts as they are satisfying at least in terms of being full, but not the tastiest, would usually choose something else.

Avoid - has sweetener additives - bleurgh
These bars would be ideal for me if it wasn’t for the added sweetener which has no nutritional benefit and (depending on what science you trust) can have some quite serious side effects. Why sweetener is added to any food at all is beyond me but in a bar like this one which could be rated as 4 stars, it’s a total waste.Food producers: if we want something sweet, we can add sugar. We’re not dumb - we know what makes food sweet so can handle that part of it ourselves. If we want something that’s low / no sugar that means we don’t want anything sweet. Adding sweetener is just complete muppetry. The bar gets 1 star because the protein content is good and that’s why I would buy them - but only when the flipping sweetener is removed.

Love, love, love.
Me and my girl can’t get enough of these bars. Now look, if you’re expecting something that is a healthy option like this to taste exactly like a normal flapjack or chocolate bar, you’re a bit of an eejit. These are best enjoyed with a fine cup of English tea. I use them as a pick me up between meals, especially when I’m in a cutting phase.I love the flavours and the texture, and I’m also pleasantly surprised at the fairly healthy ingredients, comparatively speaking, when looking at other bars on the market. My personal favourites are the white chocolate cranberry and the honey berry, which has a kind of jammy flavour, a bit like Bakewell Tart. All in all, we love these bars/flapjacks and will continue to buy them weekly probably for ever?!
