Functionally Equivalent to Brass
You're going to need to purchase a #8-32 tap to clean the treads on some of these things. The mfg. didn't cover the threads very well during the plating process and some knobs will not accept the screws until you clean the threads. You may be able to get by with some oil and a bit of force, but that's not my style.
