I use this pen for bullet journalling and it's quickly become an EDC favorite due to its medium-size and good weight profile. I replaced the cartridge with a black Fisher Space Pen refill and it's a newly beloved pen in my repertoire.

I love the Cool Hand Titanium Bolt Action Pen! The bolt action is not only fun to fidget with but also smooth and satisfying to use. The pen itself is really great and just the right size and everything you would want in an EDC pen. But the draw back for some may be the ink in the refills it uses. The ink it seems to me, is not like ink in a ballpoint pen but more like the type of ink that is in a gel pen. It has to dry before touching it or it will smear and even more so on anything semi shiny like a magazine or flyer type of paper. I really like the pen, smooth bolt action on the clicker or thing that extends the pen nib. I like the logo on the pen as well no complaints there. It is just the right size to go with my EDC flashlight and knife and is not longer than they are which I like. This pen will hold for a very long time and I like having it as a part of my kit. As far as the ink issue, well I can buy different brand ink refills as they state in the description that fit in it and hope they have a better ink quality to their refills. Other than that this is a really nice pen and who cares what it comes in, if you wrap it to give it as a gift anyone would love to get it as a gift!!

I got this because I wanted something sleek and solid. This is well-made and I have no issues with the ink.

Checking this out as a replacement for everyday pens I use at work that always sit in my back pocket. Have had a tendancy to either snap their clips or have something go wrong and they leak ink all over my work clothes. So far this pen has been a really nice change. Def feels much stronger and not cheap and flimsy like standard pens. Writes very fine. I rather like the little bolt action movement as a form of fidget toy for clicking in and out of place. I switched to this pen over my last titanium pen thru amazon vine because the previous one kept having problems with the ball point. It had plenty of ink but kept acting like it was running dry. Hopefully this one lasts much longer!

I originally gave this five stars. Sadly, after using it on other surfaces I discovered the ink was smearing, and smearing badly. It worked fine on the matte copy paper I originally used, but when I used it on those semi-glossy index cards and transparent sticky notes it was just hopeless. The pen has the nicest open-shut mechanism I've ever used, but the ink quality is even more important.

Works well but feels a little light for my liking. Doesn't feel as well made as I would like.

Awesome little pen for EDC and general writing. The tumbled finish is really nice and feels great in the hand. And the ink is actually good.The bolt action mechanism is a little rough in the beginning but fidgeting it makes it super smooth pretty quickly. I removed the clip because I hate clips, so big plus making it easily removable and having the construction allow for clipless usage without being weird or needing modding.
