A simple tool done right!
By far the easiest, slickest winder I've tried. It makes string changes just that bit less annoying, and quite a bit quicker. My opinion on is one thing but Tom Bukovac uses one, and that man's opinion should carry a lot more weight.

Over-engineered, but brilliant.
In a world of cheap tat this is a quality tool and worth every penny. Does a string winder really need a bearing action joint? Absolutely not. But you will be glad D'Addario decided to make one anyway because its a real joy to use. I expect this to last me many, many years of string changes. And it doubles as a rather satisfying fidget toy....
