Great gaming CPU arrived on time as always.
CPUs are pretty standard but this is great for gaming. Lots of cache for great gaming performance and stability. If you are doing heavy multicore tasks like rendering graphics etc I would suggest using the more expensive siblings in the range like 9900 range or even the 9950 if your have the coin, but for gaming this is the sweet spot and the value for money choice. If gaming is your usage case then get this, the more expensive offerings won’t give you enough extra in game performance for the extra money.

A gaming king.
Amazing performance in gaming, with tremendous 1% lows in CPU bound games, providing a very smooth experience. The large 3D V-Cache makes it ideal for large scale open worlds, strategy games, and games with a lot of AI based features. This chips best fps gains are seen at 1080p. However, there is substantial one at 1440p, but minimal at 4k, if say coming from the 5800x3d. (Dependant on your GPU) Impressively, whilst providing all that performance, it is also very power efficient. I rarely see over 70-80 watts in the games I play. Overall, it is truly one of the best gaming chips out there at the time of writing.

BEST GAMING CPU EVER!!
This 9800X3D replaced my totally rubbish Intel Core 9 Ultra 285, that killed itself in under a year, that wasn't overclocked and had a 360 AIO for cooling. What I have noticed while gaming even at 4K using my 4080 Super or my new (and has much better drivers) 9070 is no more 0.01% lows of 1-2FPS or 0.1% lows of 10-30FPS in games like RDR2 TLoU pt1&2, SP, X4, Dying Light 1&2, RE4, Sons of the forest, A Plague Tale 1&2 all on ultra preset etc, and a gain of 40-60FPS in 1% lows and a much, much better gaming experience in general with the 9800X3D. Simply the best for gaming
The best gaming CPU right now, which if you’re a gamer is all that needs to be said. This is my first ever AMD system build and couldn’t be happier with it, I was always an Intel-only gamer but AMD has won me over.

Cool and quiet.
Bought from swiftly gadgets. Arrived very fast. I previously had the 7700x. The 9800x3d is a big step up in terms of general desktop use. Temps around 40c, case fans are silent. Hugh improvement.

The best gaming cpu.
Upgraded from am4 setup with a 5700x3d, my fps has basically doubled as a baseline now, with more than double in some games, temps are higher than am4 platform but still not high overall (36-40 idles and never above 54 on full load in games) using thermalright peerless assassin with 2x bequiet 120mm fans.Pair with a 9070xt or rtx 4080/5080 and you are set for years, even with the tier below (7900xt or 4070) this cpu will chew through 1440p at 120fps in pretty much any game, and handle 4k np aswell.

One of the best CPUS in the current market.
This CPU is one of the best CPUS that money can buy at the moment. Would highly recommended to anyone that is looking for an upgrade.
