Thought to have first been brought to Europe in ancient times when Rome was busily building it's empire, the volcanic soils of Italy and the Amalfi coast are still synonymous with this ubiquitous and versatile fruit.

Excellent lemons, from the fruit to the zest. I use it all (zest with a martini, juice as a 'hot lemon' in the morning) and they are now my preferred lemon.
