I started to take these because I was refused for blood donation due to low hematocrit.In an effort to bump up my iron (of which hemoglobin is made), I bought a bottle of these, after reviewing the reviews.I've tolerated them well, and have no complaints so far.I'll determine if they help my hematocrit in about a month.Review of the label indicates that docusate sodium (active ingredient in Colace) is present, which explains why these tables are less likely to induce constipation.A neat convenient way to get around that problem, but generic docusate sodium is readily available at a good price elsewhere, too.Inclusion of vitamin C is also a good thing, as it enhances the body's ability to absorb iron (but is also available as a generic for a nominal cost elsewhere, too).However, I noted that the label explicitly states that the product contains milk.It's my understanding that calcium/dairy inhibits iron absorption- so I wonder why milk is present in this product?

My Dr recommended this iron supplement. This is apparently one of the better absorb iron supplements. My lab work confirmed this when I was not able to find this one (out of stock). I ordered a different supplement. My iron levels were down after taking a different supplement. It also does not upset my stomach like other iron supplements.

This is the best iron supplement. It’s just so hard to get it. It’s always out of stock. This iron supplement doesn’t bother my stomach and helps my iron levels so much. Please offer this more consistently. It makes a huge difference.

Took for 3 days before having bloodwork done. FINALLY got a normal blood report back! No anemia!!!

Ferro Sequels are supposed to restore your iron level without constipating you. My iron level is normal now, but at times I did get constipated.

I have suffered from anemia most of my life. The dr. had prescribed a different iron supplement but it made me sick. Thank goodness I found my old stand by at Amazon

My wife was advised to take these during her pregnancy. When we received them we were disappointed to find that they had an expiration date of 09/2014. The expiration date was the same date as the month of purchase.
