Confused...
The module I received has Samsung chip which is great because Samsung has invented/developed DDR3 and their modules are best in speed.. The manufacturing date of chip/module is 2011 and imported/manufactured by Simmtronics in 2019Used this module to upgrade laptop which had 2gb ram hynix 1600.This ram is actually pc-3 1066 (1333) and not 12800 (1600). It is working at dual channel mode 1333PS: Due to no return policy (Only replacement) going to keep this ram..

Does its job
It has definitely improved my laptop's speed. I was using that old *akhilesh wala laptop* and thought of giving it an update. The bootup time has improved drastically, I can also run multiple apps without any lag. Go for 4GB + if your laptop supports it.

This product is basically 1333mhz and not 1600mhz as stated so be carefull while buying and does the job till now. Go for it if you don't care for 1333mhz...

Subpar packaging and old but working fine
There was no bubble wrap, nothing. Just a plastic cover of Amazon and inside that, the RAM stick with it's case. That's it. Simple packaging LOL.Did a memtest86 after installing it in my laptop. The packaging and even the website says SIMMTRONICS but memtest86 reported the manufacturer as SAMSUNG and date of manufacturing - 11th week of 2012. I don't know if it is refurbished or even old stock

I ordered this for my laptop because it only have 2gb ram so I ordered this 2gb ram now I my laptop has 4gb ram and working very fast ......and I am satisfied with this ram..
