Kee Wah Bakery Golden (Original) Lotus Seed Mooncake with 2 Yolks 雙黃蓮蓉月餅

A friend introduced me to mooncakes a number of years ago. I introduced my family to them, and my kids look forward to their availability each year. The cakes from Kee Wah have been consistently good, and this year was, for the most part, no exception. The only fly in the ointment was that the egg yolks were noticeably harder, drier, and less flavorful than prior years. Usually, only a few crumbs remained. This year, the few crumbs were joined by some pieces of yolk.

Purchased a box of moon cakes for my mom in LA. She loved it but did not know who it was from. Apparently the bakery or Amazon omitted to include my name as the sender.

Overall it’s good, Some of yolk was a little dry, this may because of a long term from manufacturing.

not as good as Wing Wah mooncakes in my opinion, but everyone's tastes are different

They are a lot more dense than I was expecting. The yolk was dry crumbly and tasteless. The lotus paste was a bland sort of sweet paste. I was curious so I don't regret buying them, but I'm not going to buy them again.

Delicious sweet lotus paste and salty duck egg yolks. Wish I could eat these every day! Freshly made and beautiful.

Delicious but a little expensive

Taste alright..Slightly below my expectation, those eggs were subpar.
