Truvativ Flatbar Stylo T40 5 Deg

I bought the Truvativ T20 flat handlebars. I wanted something light and narrow, flat and simple, which would fit a mountain bike. The original bars were very wide. I didn't need the leverage for the tarmac riding that I do. And I wanted to be narrower in traffic, and gain a (small) aerodynamic advantage.The bars were as described and fitted well. I am an extremist, so I carefully chopped 20mm off each end with a hacksaw. All the original grips, gear levers, brake levers went on again. And there was room for a front light and a front reflector - on the 31.8mm section each side of the clamp.These bars are lower than many mountain bike original bars, but there was no interference with my legs when turning to extreme angles. And I didn't notice any transfer of weight off the saddle onto my wrists as a rsult of the slight positional change.I am happy with these bars. They are as described. They are high quality, nicely finished. Truvativ is a recognised brand from the SRAM stable, so is a safe purchase.I recommend them without any caveats - just make sure it is the 31.8mm ones you need.
