Quality, replacement in BLACK
I wanted quality bump stops, in black. I lifted the Jeep JKU 3.5" when repairing replacing suspension components. It was WICKED cold in the barn, so I boiled a pot of water, carried it out to the barn and dropped them in. Once I got everything ready, they were pliable enough to pop into place. Put a little lube on them and the sockets. If your Jeep is RUSTY, as anyone in the North will know about, you will want to clean the sockets. I used a wire wheel on my drill motor. Got them cleaned up and then primed and painted them. I discovered, that the factory bump stops were so deteriorated, that they were packed into the "teeth" that hold them in place. Tapped a small flat blade screwdriver in from the back and cleared them out. Many potholes and about 1800 miles later, they are doing their job well. Thanks

est way to install bump stop
So the best way to install this product1 put in freezer over night2 put bearing grease around top side edge of bump stop and in socket that you are pushing it into.3 use wood block on top of axle with half inch wedge, because it goes in at an angle. get as close as you can to the socket it goes in. you should only have to jack the axle up about 2 inches.4 you must use a large pair of channell locks grab the bump stop and twist back and forth as your pushing it in - don"t worry the bump stop will not tear apart or get damaged. you will feel it pop into place. this is the only way i got mine in my 2012 jeep. i tried with out the grease no way would it go in. good luck

Perfect replacement for worn out factory JK/JKU bump stops
Fixed my issue with old rotting factory bump stops. Definitely needed these before our trip and performed quite well given that our Jeep was loaded down with a roof rack, gear, and 4 people. Made the trip much more pleasant. This is a temporary bump stop before putting on a lift kit which will require longer bump stops and extensions on the bottom.

Looks like a good OEM replacement.
Reviews where saying these are hard to install, with a little smarts I use a jack and pressed them right in.
