Spot's Birthday Party Paperback – January 1, 2003

My grandson loves Spot the dog books, great stories and lovely illustrations. Highly recommended

Bought for our two year olds birthday! Starting a birthday book tradition. She loved reading it, opening the flaps and talking about the animals inside.

Had this book as a child and had to get it for my sons first birthday. It's perfect! He loves it. He's at the age where he loves animals and flaps, so we read this book a lot! He's not super gentle, but the flaps are hanging in there. They aren't very thick, like some other books he has, but after having this book for months and reading it atleast once a day, they are all intact.

We have a few older spot books that are from my now 7 year old and while my 2 year old loves them, a few of the flaps are missing. I did what most people would do and I popped onto Amazon and ordered him a few.I this story it's Spots birthday party in which he's starting with a game of hide and seek. He finds all his friends and they celebrate!

Kids love the birthday party theme of the book. The party quickly turns into a hide and seek game with party guests, but is fun anyway. Even though the story could have been developed a bit better, it remains entertaining and cute. The lift the flap action is always amusing. I would recommend this book, to add to your Spot reading library.

This is a cute lift-the-flap book. I think it's almost as good as "Where's Spot?". I like that there's an actual reason for all these animals hiding in the house (they are playing hide and seek) instead of just no reason given as in "Where's Spot?". I do think the art work is a bit odd. It's nice but it looks like an older style than and the animals seem to have tired bags under their eyes. That's very minor. I will say, the page with Helen the Hippo is our favorite. They did the curtain for the bath so well that my son still tries to open both sides. It's a joke now, but they did do the flap really well on that page.

My granddaughter loves all of the spot books, she is totally excited to lift up the flaps even though she knows as many times as we have read this what's under it and laughs when she says it's name, they are such perfect little books and this one is her favorite..

This was a first birthday gift for a granddaughter. She will receive other Spot books for other occasions over the next year or so.

The gift was for a one year old granddaughter.She loves dogs. And she loved the surprise pictures under each flap.

Great book for my 2 year old, fun and engaging

Love the Spot serie, I was a big fan as a child and now my baby is into that too.. Children are very attracted by these books, from toddlers to 6 years old. I'm italian and I can only find these on Amazon.

My three year old daughter makes me read this book over and over again. I love it too.
