Look at all the names of people lea reviews. They are all from the same network and server. This seller is boosting the star rating with fake reviews.And, this item is a NIGHTMARE to try to connect. I wasted over 1 hour.And, this item is not refundable, even though it is a terrible product.

The "simple" set up by pressing the WPS buttons on the extender and router did not work. Tried it on more than one outlet and had the devices 10 feet apart. The set up by browser did work but had to do it twice. I used it to extend wi-fi to my ring doorbell 2 and it does serve that purpose improving the connection significantly. I plugged the extender into an outlet very close my front door. (Tip: must go into the Ring app settings and reconnect to the extender's wi-fi network.) Also extends wi-fi into my garage where i did not have it before. When I run a speed test on my iphone while connected to the extender network, it maxes out at 17-23 mbps compared to around 70 when connected to my primary router's wi-fi network. In reading many of the other reviews about this product, they have a bunch of random letters after the name as a common theme and are not "verified purchases" like mine and only a few other reviews are. At the very least, amazon should take down the fake reviews. My one star rating is a reflection on all the above issues together, one of the biggest being the dishonest fake reviews.

This product does not work. I have a 2 story home and we tried to use it downstairs and it does not work. I am also upset ot does not have a return policy.

Purchased this and installed this item same day. Product synced up pretty easy to my WiFi network. I purchased this because my modem is downstairs and up in the bedroom has a bit weaker signal. When I do generic speed test with a trusted app, I get about 58mbps when close to the modem, I have 60mbps service. When I hook the booster up, the highest speed I ever got was 24mbps! The average was 14-18mbps. I tried several locations throughout my house to find where I can get the most boost. The internal lights on the device or for showing good strength from my actual Wi-Fi signal in every area that I tested it. So this thing is junk! And to top it off, yesterday when I tried a new room, it actually just stopped working.. No lights no nothing! Customer service took 4days to get back to me with an answer that helped nothing! Telling me the booster won’t give me higher speeds then what I pay for, duh!! How about more than 24mbps.... This was via email, they don’t have a phone number to chat with support team. The two star is only because install was pretty easy.

Doesn't work. Internet connection is 90% worse when connected to it vs my AP...

After translating the terribly written instructions, the extender would still not connect to my home network. Stay away.

Instructions are not clear at all for installation. Noteworthy that since the 4 star rating this had when I ordered it 3 weeks ago, it has now reduced to a 3.2 rating and is no longer available. When I try to return it (in less than 3 weeks from purchase), it says it can't be returned. No where on the item description did it say it was not returnable, and nothing in the Amazon return policy addresses why this would not be returnable. Have always had a great experience with Amazon returns, so this is incredibly frustrating and disappointing.

Easy to install. However, the unit is very glitchy. Have to unplug and plug back in at least once a week because it loses signal. Very close to main router, so that is not it. Had to do complete reset and reinstall several times because I keep getting “improper password” errors, even though the password never changed.
