Son in law loved this
Showed the guy who bangs my daughter how to use this for a woodworking project and he was blown away by it. He's a literal rocket scientist but had never used something like this before. So I got him his own. Can never go wrong with Swanson for measuring devices.

Blade not Stainless Steel!
Nice little 6 inch square, BUT the scale blade is NOT stainless steel as it is described and stamped on the blade. It is very magnetic and has a lot of carbon steel in it so it will rust. Just wanted potential buyers to be aware. I would recommend this item and would purchase it again.

Perfect size
Great size! Fits perfectly into tool pouch. Very handy especially when working on mouldings using a chop saw.

Well made
This is a good square. It’s clean and well finished. Numbers on the ruler are darkened and very readable. Functions properly in all ways.And - my scribe was included.Got it as a second square to leave in place at my miter saw due to the price, but it’s not a second rate tool at all.
