Litter Box smells GONE! UPDATE!
Pull out of the box, remove plastic protective bag, plug in. Turn on, 4 different fan levels. Simple, Simple, Simple! This is my 2nd purchase. 1st was for the bathroom with the 2 large cat litter boxes. 3 cats. Used to be lots of smells, no fun. Now, stink free, and clay powder being trapped by the pre filter. Not dusty anymore. Cats are happy. People are happy. Worked so well, I bought another for my wife's sewing room. I guess lots of bolts of fabric come with lots of dust. She'd be stuffy and sneezing. Today will be her first day in the GermGuardian Hepa purifier sewing room. Will report on her reaction. I expect it to be positive. Way to go Germ Guardian. I was skeptical, now I'm not. Day 2 of the dusty sewing room...it's gone! Not the sewing room...the DUST! Gone! No sneezing or congestion after working in there all day. These things really work! .

Would recommend for UV and Hepa.
Works well and have owed this for 7 months now. Purchased to help keep Covid virus spread lower in the air. The optional on/off UV light appears to have mitigated its spread helping to keep others from getting sick. Granted, enhanced hygiene measures, masks, and cleaning with antiviral products contributed to the success we experienced. However, it was again successful when used another time for a lesser illness. As for the Hepa, it works very good. We have pets and the air is noticeably cleaner. The fan speeds have a wide range. When highest, it is loud with the sound of air movement — but pretty much all hepas are loud on the highest setting. Otherwise, it’s decent at medium and quiet when low. Only drawback is that it would be nice to dim the operational light for nighttime. One thing to note is that while it moves a lot of air, don’t expect a fan. The air output is diffused for even flow. It seems to pull air from the front and back and air also exits from the front. We would recommend this product.

USA product - 5-In-1 HEPA Air Purifier for Home
After hearing so much about the benefits and use of a home purifier for many years, we finally decided to get one. We picked this one because it was designed and tested in Ohio, USA, and comes with both Hepa and charcoal filters, which are reasonably priced and easy to replace. Being allergy sufferers, and living in an area of high smog, not to mention pollution from the many fires, which occur annually in California, we can already tell the difference with how we feel. This one is rated for energy efficiency. Notice that the units are listed with the total amount of square footage that they are built to cover. We bought the large area unit, which covers about 900 sq ft, because or home has an open concept design. It comes with a 5 speed fan, timer and ultraviolet technology. This unit is great for pet owners. Even with running the fan on high, the unit is very quiet. After comparing quite a few brands and styles, and now with using it, we highly recommend this unit.

8 Years and Still Going
I bought this thing in 2016 when it cost ~$138. It seems to have gone up substantially since then.If you can get this on sale, I highly recommend it as the price I paid for *even then* is still too high. This was also rated for rooms up to 165 square feet (my room just about fills that need); it is now allegedly rated for rooms up to "915 square feet", yet they said far less for a much bigger unit that they sell. I think that's a massive lie, and they probably tested it at the highest speed possible, which is insanely inefficient.I'm also very shocked that it's incredibly overpriced despite the fact that this product is several years old; the age of the product should be reflected in the price. The design of this product has the air shoot out towards its left at an angle, possibly somewhere between the 35 and 45 degree mark. The max fan speed, while noisy, isn't overwhelming, but it can be an issue at night, which is typical. The display can actually fade over time, and it may not be as legible or bright and clear as the first time you've installed it. While the red power light isn't that bright and is bright enough to not light up your entire room, the garish, tacky UV light indicator should have had a much smaller LED like the power indicator light was, because it completely lights up the room at night and makes it very difficult to sleep. And I noticed that the fan got squeaky roughly about maybe 4 years after I first started using it, which is frankly annoying, but after some consideration even with a customer service agent, I decided it wasn't worth it. It still works and I've gotten used to it by now.Otherwise, the UV bulb I recall lasted only between 2 to 4 years before it completely burnt out for good; replacing the bulb is relatively inexpensive, but the price is still a bit hefty. Even then, properly disposing of it is incredibly difficult, as not many locations are willing to take it from you, so you can't just take it to some brick-and-mortar store where they'll take CFL bulbs , but get stingy when you ask them to take your dead germicidal (UV-C) bulb. This is a common problem for every product that uses UV-C lighting specifically to kill certain germs.Even then, I read on either Consumer Reports or another reputable site that germicidal bulbs in terms of removing viruses, bacteria and mould in the air require an extensive period of time to completely sanitise the air in comparison to what air purifiers like this one allows. Therefore, it shows how needless UV bulbs in air purifiers and even furnaces really are; there's very little to no time available for these bulbs to actually do their intended job, because air moves relatively fast from the prefilter to the egress of the purifier itself. While it still works today, I don't exactly notice a whole lot in terms of cleanliness of the air, but the filter DOES get rather dirty (but not near-black or dark grey) when I use it 24/7, so I can say that it at least helps *reduce* the amount of dust particles in the air. When I get sick, I've used this as high as it can go, and run it all the time and keep the windows shut if it's too hot or too cold outside.Overall, as I said in the second paragraph of this review: I absolutely recommend it, especially when it's on sale. It's not really worth over $100 (US), but it does its job when it can.

Essential purchase!
I have several of these now and no regrets at all. I consider them essential! Ideally you would have one in each bedroom and common area. The air is noticeably cleaner when it's on. It reduces odors but I would not say it eliminates them quickly. Recently we had a family member with covid. With the windows open and several of these going, no one else got it. I'd say it's a must for allergy sufferers, apartment dwellers or anyone with a stuffy room or who is concerned about air quality. The noise level is not bad. On level three and below, it's barely noticeable. On full blast, it is a bit loud for hearing the tv or talking, but provides some white noise for sleeping. The UV light is a nice feature but may bother you if you need total darkness to sleep. However, you can turn it off whenever you want. Filter changes are super easy. Seems like a good value. I've had some since the beginning of covid and they are still going strong.

great design, easy to place
this design works so well as it fits in almost any place, and it is light weight. The air feels so fresh and smells so fresh.I am not sneezing as often either. I like it!
