Best car soap available
This simply the best all around soap out there for washing cars. I've been using it for years on various cars, and I've yet to find something that works better. It helps bring my Evo to a show worthy clean and shine.A couple cap fulls of this in my pressure washer bottle suds up great, same with my Gilmour Foamaster. It does a great job at cutting through mud and dirt, and even bird droppings if you get to it soon enough. Where I live it rains 2-3x a week so I try to keep my car waxed to reduce washes, but I still end up washing it down once every 1-2 weeks. If I stay on top of it, with this and my pressure washer - I don't have to touch my car with a mit or towel for cleanings. This works that well to clean a car of all dirt, grime, and bugs. However if you let it go a month and it's not waxed, then you'll probably have to mit clean it. The only time I use a different soap is usually the first couple weeks after a wax (assuming it's not caked on dirty somehow) I use Meguiar's Wash and Wax - 48 oz. to preserve the wax job and bring it back to a little more of a shine. To wash - I highly recommend a cheap electric pressure washer with a soap bottle. You can find them around 100-150$, and if you frequently wash your car it's well worth it. My philosophy is the less times I have to touch my car the lower probability of miro-marring and swirl marks. If you have to mitt clean, do as high powered of a rinse you can with a hose to get off the bulk of dirt. I then recommend the Meguiar's Microfiber Wash Mitt, use two cheap 5 gallon buckets (you can get them for a couple bucks from HomeDepot), with a The Grit Guard Insert (Red) - Fits 12 inch Diameter Bucket at the bottom. One bucket is clean rinse water the others your soap dunking water. The important tips I've found for avoiding marring is to frequently rinse and soap your mitt - don't let it start to get dry of soap/suds. Every single time you're about to rinse the mitt run your other hand over both sides and do a visible inspection, pick off ANYTHING you see. Rinse it, scrape along the grit guard if you need to, re-soap the mitt, then do another run of your hand against it and visible inspection. I can't tell you how many times I've picked something off the mitt, like a small piece a dirt or pebble or leaf/twig part that would've likely marked up the clear coat. Also usually you do not need to apply a lot of pressure, even for caked on grime. Lightly drag it so if there is dirt on the mitt it's less likely to scratch. The only other advice I have is to use at least 2 mitts per car. Reserve at least one for any hotspots on the car that get a lot of dirt - like around your rear wheel wells, rear bumper around exhaust, maybe even your front bumper if you've got it caked with bugs from a long road trip. I save those spots for last with the separate mitt so it keeps all that gunk out of the buckets and off the rest of my car. It's also useful to have another mitt if you drop yours on the ground or it touches any high dirty areas, it's great to set it aside for the washer and use another for now.I usually use a CRSpotless DI filter system to rinse the car off afterwards to a spot free shine. I have however used this and just hosed it off afterwards, and it does a pretty decent job by itself at leaving a fairly spot-free shine (obviously not completely). I'd say it's better then the Mother's wash I tried in this regard. Otherwise it's pretty comparable to the Mother's wash, although I tend to think this cuts through caked on dirt just a bit better. If you don't want a CRSpottless system you can buy the big blue filter housing and a DI filter to build your own for around 100-200$ (I did this after my crspotless system cracked over one winter). If you go the towel dry method I'd recommend Meguiar's Water Magnet Drying Towel - you'll have to ring it out a couple times (maybe buy two), but it's soft and pretty safe to use. Just make sure you don't let it touch the ground or anything else covered in dirt - or you will mar/scratch it during drying.

Quick and easy to wash and wax
Always use it, always like it, great product taking care of wash and wax at the same time, it is good for a lazy person like me, who is not super critical with the car wash, just taking care of the wash and wax in one shot.

Soap and shine
This soap works really well but it didn’t have a lot of sud production in my foaming pressure washer. It does clean and shine up your paint really nice, which is ceramic coated. It has a chemical smell to it and not the sick scent type.I would definitely recommend and will be purchasing again. I used this on my Harley Davidson softail classic. It really shined up the chrome on the motor without needing another product.

Best shampoo
Meguiar’s Gold Class Car Wash Shampoo & Conditioner is a premium automotive cleaning solution designed to clean and condition your vehicle’s paint in one step. As part of Meguiar’s well-respected detailing line, this product promises a rich sudsing formula, safe results on all paint types, and a glossy finish.⸻🧼 1. Cleaning Performance: 9.5/10One of the most noticeable strengths of this car shampoo is its powerful cleaning ability without being harsh. Even on vehicles that hadn’t been washed for weeks, this shampoo lifted off dirt, grime, road film, and bug splatter effectively. It loosened contaminants without requiring much scrubbing — which helps avoid swirl marks. What really stood out was how lubricated the suds felt, which reduces friction between the wash mitt and the paint. This makes the wash safer for delicate finishes.⸻💧 2. Foam & Suds: 10/10This shampoo foams beautifully, especially when used with a foam cannon or foam gun. Even when mixed in a simple bucket, it produces a thick, rich lather that lasts through the entire wash. The suds cling well to the surface, allowing time for dirt to soften and be lifted off easily. This also helps those who prefer the “touchless” approach before hand washing.⸻🌟 3. Finish & Shine: 9/10True to its “Shampoo & Conditioner” label, the finish after washing is noticeably slick, glossy, and deep — almost like applying a light wax. This is particularly useful for maintaining cars that already have a wax or ceramic coating applied. The shampoo seems to enhance existing protection and doesn’t strip waxes or sealants. After drying, the paint looked rich and smooth with very little water spotting.⸻🛡️ 4. Paint and Coating Safety: 10/10One of the most important qualities in a car shampoo is its pH balance. Meguiar’s Gold Class is pH-neutral, making it safe for clear coats, waxes, sealants, and ceramic coatings. No streaking, no etching, and no dullness to the finish, even on black cars — which are the most unforgiving.⸻🧴 5. Ease of Use & Dilution: 9/10A little goes a long way. The instructions suggest about 1 ounce per gallon of water, and even at that ratio, the foam output is excellent. The shampoo rinses off cleanly without leaving residue. It doesn’t feel greasy or oily, and it works well in both hot and cold water.⸻🌿 6. Scent & User Experience: 8.5/10The scent is a pleasant, slightly fruity or soapy fragrance — nothing overpowering. It makes the washing process more enjoyable compared to harsher chemical-smelling cleaners.⸻💸 7. Value for Money: 9/10Although it’s a mid-range to premium-priced shampoo, the value is excellent considering:• How little product is needed per wash,• The 2-in-1 functionality (cleaner + conditioner),• And the long-lasting protection and shine.Available in sizes from 16 oz to 1 gallon, which helps reduce cost per wash.⸻⚠️ Any Downsides?• If your car is extremely dirty with grease or heavy road tar, you might need a dedicated degreaser or pre-wash — this shampoo is more gentle than aggressive.• It does not replace waxing or sealing, though it helps maintain those layers.⸻✅ Final Verdict: 4.8/5 StarsMeguiar’s Gold Class Car Wash Shampoo & Conditioner lives up to its reputation. It’s an excellent all-around shampoo for detailers and enthusiasts who want:• High lubrication,• Rich suds,• A glossy finish,• And safe maintenance of paint protection systems.Whether you’re a weekend washer or a professional, this product hits the sweet spot between performance, safety, and shine.

Good thick product that suds well.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:The name, the reviews read, the more suds per dollar value I thought I would get.I enjoyed using this in a foam cannon. My wife said it smells good. It seems to suds good and clean well. I could have boughten a cheaper more oz product but it looked kinda weak.

Great product!
I love this car shampoo, it smells great, it foams up perfectly, and it puts a great shine on my car. It is not expensive but preforms like it is. I recommend this if you wash your cars weekly like I do.
