CS3 - Wireless TV Speakers for Hearing Impaired, Voice Enhancing, Near-Ear Clarity, Compatible with Most TVs & Streaming Apps

I was surprised how the chair speakers solved my problem. My mother lives with my wife and me. She would turn up the TV volume very loud in order to hear the dialog. I thought I would give these speakers a try.We have a nice set of speakers, which connect with a digital optical cable and I was hoping we could still use them so I purchased a digital optical splitter along with the chair speakers. Using the digital optical cable, which came as one of the options with the chair speakers the audio signal splits beautifully between both sets of speakers. When my wife and I are not watching TV we simply mute our speakers and mom listens as loud as she wants on her set, which can barely be detected several feet away from her. They worked so well I purchased a second set for the TV in her room.It is much quieter in our home now. If you are looking for way to help someone with a hearing impairment or simply quiet your home, I recommend the chair speakers.

Love these things. I hesitated on buying them because of reviews. But I figured I would give it a try considering I can't hear the voices and louder sound- hurts my husband's ears. So, I have been looking for a solution for awhile and these things are great. I love the separate volume controls and I can hear the voices and my husband can have volume turned down for him. I highly recommend trying them.

I do not love these at all. Very cumbersome, too many wires, must be within range of the transmitter, which greatly limits their portability. Volume is controlled by the tv remote and does not go very high at all. Mine had to be connected via headphone jack and so if I get up to do anything I miss what is being said because the headphone option cuts off the tv speakers. Definitely not worth the price, these will be going back.

These speakers work well. The sound is good and they allow me to watch TV late at night without disturbing anyone in my household.

UPDATED: Manufacturer replaced the unit when I contacted them by phone. Still only giving three stars for how quickly it failed.ORIGINAL 1 Star Review: Repeated contact by phone and email to Kare Audio have not been answered. Expensive piece of junk.

This armchair speaker set up worked great! I was able to set it up following the instruction booklet. I highly recommend this product for those with hearing loss.

My wife would often set the TV volume to 100. I could not stand to be in the same room and it was even loud when I was two rooms away. I tried some other solutions but they just didn't do the job or she didn't like them. Out of sheer frustration, I ordered the ChairSpeaker. My wife would set the TV volume to 100. In the back of my mind, I knew I would be returning it I was sure it was another thing that wouldn't perform well. WRONG! she loves it I love. For the first time in a few years, I can actually enjoy watching TV with my wife as the sound volume for the TV is set to a level (23) that is not painful to me. Yet she can sit in her chair and hear perfectly. The design is such that most of the sound from the ChairSpeaker is kept beside her. There is relatively little spill-over into the rest of the room. Yes, this is not the cheapest solution out there, however it is certainly the best value for your money. If you have hearing loss buy this for yourself. If a loved one has hearing loss be selfish and by this for your sanity. My wife thinks it was a present for her, actually, it was for me.One nice feature is that it is AC-powered. She watches TV all day long. A unit that would need recharging after a few hours is not going to do the job. Also many solutions I looked at or tried only have one speaker. This provides sound to both ears. Set up is fast and simple.

Two issues caused me to send it back. The primary problem was that the sound was not loud enough for my very hard of hearing mom. Even when placed close to her ears. The second problem is that the transmitter and speakers require a line of site connection. Every time she walks around the room the connection would be interrupted and sound would drop.
