This a large detailed map with lots of small villages and other landmarks noted on it. Great for your of Scotland I just finished. I haven’t found one better after months of searching.

This has allowed me to lay out our trip old school. I need to visualize and I like this map. I do wish it had a close up map of Edinburgh but that aside, great map.

I was wondering what kind of material this map would be, given that it is listed as waterproof and tear-resistant. I expected it to be some type of fabric. To be honest, I cannot tell what material it is, but it feels soft, which I love. I have not tried to tear it to see if it really is tear proof, but it feels as if it is. I cannot wait to go on our trip to Scotland to use it.Now, the only reason I knocked a point off is because of shipping. Whoever packaged it, I feel, did not want to go through the 'trouble' to make sure that the map would not get damaged. All the person had to do was place the map between two small boxes inside the shipping box do that it would stay flat and not mangled up. Instead, the worker just dropped it on top of everything else and let it do its thing during transit. Due to this, the map arrived bent.

Went to Scotland for a 3 week trip last summer. Really nice to have especially to show where all the golf courses were.

Just what we need for an upcoming trip. This shows smaller roads that don't appear online.

Perfect to have in the car in Scotland for when cell service doesn't work. Which is more often than one might think :)
