Excellent fryer/oven!
Bought as a Black Friday deal at only £60, I'll admit I had reservations about quality/versatility of a product at that price point. Turns out my reservations were totally unfounded.I'd been wanting an air fryer for ages, and this fitted the bill perfectly, since it has the door as opposed to a drawer - being in a wheelchair, that makes it infinitely more user friendly access-wise. Controls are easy to use and intuitive - I've not even used the presets, it's just that simple. The images are quite deceptive as to size, it's very roomy (I can cook a whole garlic baguette in there).I've experimented for 7 days solid with basics like sausages, through to chargrilled vegetables, steaks, poached salmon, cheese & ham toasties and all manner of ready meals - all have come out beautifully. The crispness on things like onion bhaji is world beating! Tastes are very much improved as you can tell items are less fatty. While taking the front door off to clean it can be fiddly at first, to be honest you don't even need to in order to get it sparkly after cooking. The energy cost vs. conventional oven is markedly less (I cooked identical items in both and monitored on smart meter) and the heat up/cool down is significantly quicker. Having a light is a blessing, so you don't end up having to crack it open halfway through and muck up the cooking temperature.Have used the rotisserie accessory for a small beef joint, which came out really succulent medium rare after 45 minutes at 190° plus it eliminated the need for basting.I highly recommend getting the available accessories from Tower - I've used the chip basket that sits on the rotisserie (though the locking catch on that needs a rethink!) and the grilling plate for steaks. The multi skewer rotor for kebabs is a glorious addition! They're not the cheapest but they're very useful. Alternatively non-branded ones are available on Amazon and the measurements are exactly the same as the official ones.Closing off an embarrassingly long review, at the price I paid this is a steal. There's super-posh pricier models with all the bells & whistles, but as an entry level airfryer, it's unmissable for less then £100. I won't be going back to a conventional oven.

Magical, changed our lives!!
The media could not be loaded. We adopted the Tower Vortex Air Fryer just before Xmas and was amazed! When microwaves came we thought they were brilliant but the downside, reheating some things turned chewy rather than crispy.....not so with this Air Fryer Oven. Not just an air fryer but an oven....rotiserrie chicken, or any piece of meat, tied with string and self bastes as it rotates!Once upon a time, we'd occasionally have oven chips....now it's almost daily! Lol....guilt free due to no added oil required and only what you need cooked. Food little and often. Croissants and other pastry items almost every day, as it's quick and efficient. As for the bacon and/or slices of mushrooms for a fry up? No more soggy mushrooms, or white foam surrounding the bacon in a pan showing the high water content...Nope, beautifully crispy bacon, and tasty mushrooms....and chips if you wanted to put them on one of the 2 wire shelves that are included. My tip for cleaning the wire shelves? A dedicated nail brush for the purpose - as well as on the mesh filter in the cafetiere...We LOVE the air fryer oven. I'm glad I skipped going for just an air fryer....a few pounds more and you get a better capacity, the option of 3 different food items on mesh shelves, and rotisseried meat!I just hope that unlike a previous review, ours won't cease working....but then, there is the Tower Guarantee, which I'd like to assume I can rely on compared to the 'non brands'.Do I recommend this? Yes, yes, yes....with chips on it!!!!!UPDATE 17th September 2022All is still great with our Wonderful Tower Air Fryer Oven!!Due to wearing on the drip tray we started to line with foil. I put a clean one in each time for a roast chicken - about 1.4kg - and add water to the line. This adds extra moisture and we no longer open the door purely to prick the skin. The juice then gathers and mixes with water, maybe add a bit more for the last 10 mins, and you have some great stuff for gravy....yum!!!In a time of 'cost of living'....in the time it takes to heat up a big/main oven, your chips healthy chips are cooked! We regularly make Greek Spanakopita in it, so it's not just for chips!

Cracking little air fryer oven
When deciding on a air fryer I was torn between oven over basket type. I was looking at this model for about a year but I wasn't convinced in getting a air fryer. So when black Friday came about it was on a good deal so it was a no brainer and if I found that it wasn't for me then I hadn't wasted money on a more up-to-date air fryer. So glad I purchased it as I really don't use my main oven anymore. I live on my own and it's good for 1 to 2 people. Comes with so many extra items only down side is I had to purchase the frying basket separately. It cooks really well, you can even cook a medium size pizza without cutting it in half. You can even cook a English fried breakfast all at once. Super easy to keep clean plus you can see the cooking process with a integrated light so you don't have to keep pausing to check the cooking process unlike the majority of basket type air fryers. Yes there are other air fryer ovens on the market but you have to remember this model has been out for over a year so doesn't have some of the more advanced features. In summary it's a great little oven that still packs at punch and hasn't disappointed me yet and I save money on energy bills
