I wanted to add a small cargo carrier to our city car, but was worried about reviews that items could melt or burn if they were too close to the exhaust. This was the perfect solution, it kept everything close enough to the car to be secure, but with added distance from the exhaust that even enabled us to open our trunk while it was loaded. No melting or damage to our cargo bag at all. The anti-rattle feature worked as advertised for where it attaches to the car, although you might still want a hitch tightener for the external end depending on what you're adding there.

We have e-bikes we love to take with us when we are traveling in our camper van. They are heavier bikes so it was a real pain to take them on and off every time we needed to access our gear near the back doors. This has allowed us to quickly and easily swing the bikes away from the doors and get what we need. I highly recommend this hitch adapter if you face a similar need and have heavy e-bikes. There are some other adapters that might work for lighter bikes but this is the only one I found that handles the load of our heavier bikes.

Really enjoyed using this with a cargo carrier on our 2023 Ford Bronco. This swing hitch could hold our large cooler and still let us get into the rear trunk hatch. Clamping down the handle to secure the hinge into place was solid.

Using with a Curt spare tire carrier. Works great. Very good quality. Cheaper than comparable swing-outs. I also mounted it up on a dual hitch adapter. So I cna put a winch mount on at the same time.It does stick out sort a bit further than I would like but not as bad as the pictures show on the product page. I actually like this hitch adapter a lot, and it works well. However, I just paid $349 for mine less than two weeks ago and now I can get it for $175

Very heavy duty everything about it is good

Great product. Used it to carry a custom built locking chest on the back of our Yukon on a 30 day trip across the US. It worked as designed but sagged a slight bit when weighted down even though we stayed below the recommended max weight capacity. Would definitely recommend but would also like to see a heavier duty one.
