Easy direct replacement. No problem. works fine. I thought the price was good and it arrived fast and on time

My freezer was working fine but the blower wasn’t and the fridge wouldn’t go below 60 degrees. I replaced the fan motor in 20 minutes and now everything is perfect and put both dials on the recommended # 3 settings for freezer and fridge.

This successfully fixed the issue with my 2004 Whirlpool refrigerator/freezer/ Previously, the freezer was freezing, but the refrigerator wouldn't go below 50 degrees. After spending about 20 minutes swapping out the original motor, the cold air flows into the refrigerator compartment and sits at 35 degrees. Time will tell how long it will last, but I can buy about 5 of these for the cost of 1 OEM motor.

I thought I took pictures but can't find them now. And of course it's installed, so can't see it now. Doesn't really matter, it looks like it does in the item photos. The point is that it works like a champ! Found a couple of online tutorials on how to install this make/model, they were slightly different but close enough, it wasn't hard. And now my fridge is working again, huzzah! Cold food is good. Zero complaints, great device, been running for almost exactly 2.5 months without a problem, it's even significantly quieter. In fact, the knocking sounds that I assumed were the compressor are gone too. Maybe when the last one died it started putting pressure/strain on the compressor? I know it was completely thick with ice behind the cover. I had to let it defrost. Gonna guess that with the fan that circulates air broken it couldn't dissipate the cold and that's why it iced up and that did cause issues with the compressor. At any rate, this thing worked like a champ and it's all good now. 5/5

It has been a few weeks & still works. I had to reuse the original fan, but that does not appear to be a problem. It was 1/4 of the price from manufacturer & local vendor. Am not sure it is brand new but looked it. My original lasted 14 years. Saved me from needing to buy a brand new fridge for now.

Everything was as good as advertised! Own was very honest and very nice.

I’m purchasing another one of these parts for my fridge. The last one, bought in October 2024, is already showing signs of failing after less than a year. While I don’t mind buying replacement parts instead of a new fridge, the process is arduous—removing all the food, storing it in coolers to prevent spoilage, and the labor involved in installation. If this part could last at least two years, I’d be much happier.
