good solid throne
I've had this throne for 8 weeks and am quite pleased. It is solidly built, sturdy in use, easy to adjust, infinitely adjustable, comfortable, and good looking.I have not had occasion to beat it up with a lot of moving/gigging, but think that the nice build construction would hold up well. For around $100, it seems to be a good buy. I did not find cheaper thrones that did not sacrifice significant areas of quality, nor did I find more expensive thrones that added features that seemed to matter to me.I bought my unit direct from Amazon without trying one out before, and can say that I've been entirely pleased from the moment it showed up.If you need a solid, comfy throne and $100 fits your budget, I can't see going wrong with this one. (Do, however, note the minimum height on this as well as other thrones; if you are under 5'6 or want something low, this one may be too high.)

Comfy, Sturdy and BEEFY
Bought this to replace a Tama seat I had originally purchased. Right away I noticed how much heavier this guy was. I'm a bigger guy, so I needed something more capable of holding my weight and the slip collar style height adjustment wasn't going to work out. This thing is rock solid, the feet are stable and dont wobble or move around. The non-slip covers on the feet keep the stool in place on the garage floor. The swivel height adjustment is easy and stays in place while still allowing you to move around the kit easily.I chose the round seat but there's an identical model with the tractor-style seat if that's your thing.Super glad I found this one, would definitely buy again.

Buy DW
Good product. Disappointed in manufacturer since they now have their product made in Taiwan.

The best drum throne I have ever used
I have used quite a few drum thrones over the years from different brands and this one is by far the most comfortable throne out of every one I have tried. Excellent build quality and sturdiness too. 10/10 highly recommend

the quality is impressive and better than expected
I own the DW9000 base pedal, hi hat stand, and snare stand; the quality is impressive and better than expected. I considered spending the extra 100 bucks to get the 9000 throne but my thoughts were, " it is just a place for my ass...". I made the right choice; I am very pleased. The weight is extraordinary, the adjustments incremental, and the feel and fit top notch. My next purchase might just be a DW collector series kit!

High and highly adjustable. Sweet throne!
Adjusts to greater heights than most other drum thrones I’ve used. This takes away the hip muscle strain caused by pedaling from a low throne.Great cushion for your buttocks.A back support would have made it the best thing in the market.Due to its threaded height adjuster, it gives room for the throne to somewhat spin with you as you pivot your core during a roll.
