I tend to keep my shoes for a long time. I had a pair of Earth Spirit suede flip flops that I have worn around the house and outside on the property for at least seven years. I have no idea where I originally got them from, but they are one of the most comfortable pair of shoes that I own. I have never cleaned them because I was scared I would ruin them.I got this block and cleaning brush. I was hoping and pray it would not mess up my comfy shoes. But I had to be okay if it went sideways (the shoes have lives a long and fulfilling life). I did a test patch. I used it on the top of just one shoe so I could compare the difference. It did work. It cleaned the shoe.I did not apply a lot of pressure, I did not need to. I rubbed back and forth with the same motion as I use a tooth brush. That seemed to work better. Then I brushed and I could see the difference.I was not expecting much because these shoes had not been cleaned in years. But I was impressed. The shoe looked noticeably better. I recommend it.

I was wearing my BRAND NEW $170 Birkenstocks in the house that I got for Christmas. I wanted to break them in because the weather is getting nice. A bottle of oil based salad dressing fell out of the fridge and got all over my shoe. I was devastated. Thinking they were ruined. I put baking soda on them overnight after dabbing the dressing off and that's the before pictures. They looked terrible. I called Birkenstock and they said to hire a professional shoe cleaner. Really? No thanks. I ordered this kit and the results speak for themselves. I'm so grateful!!!! If you're on the fence, don't be. I would give this set 10 stars if I could.

Works like a charm

I pride myself on my stain removing abilities. Welp, I ruined a pair of suede sneakers using a stain remover spray. This eraser not only removed the stain I caused with the spray, but it removed the original stain as well.

Very sturdy and really gets the Knapp feeling so soft and back to its original feel. Would recommend.

It's ok, eraser doesn't work too well to me. And the brush is a regular nylon brush. Doesn't have the Angelus emblem on it. It's alright tho.

My daughter used these to clean her Uggs and they looked great after.

This suede cleaning kit worked great on my light pink, suede sneakers. I was very nervous about making my shoes look worse, and I was so relieved at how well these 2 Angelus tools — an eraser type thing and a stiff nylon brush — worked!!!Definitely works better if you get to the scuffs/stains sooner than later, but some of the scuffs were a couple weeks old and still lifted well.Tips & Tricks:Use LIGHT PRESSURE ONLY, many quick strokes do the trick. DO NOT rub too hard with either the eraser or the brush; you don’t want to tear up the suede. Go back and forth with the eraser and the brush, initially. Then, switch to using the brush only in one direction at the end, to reset the nap of the suede.Many light pressure quick strokes, patience, and alternating the eraser and the brush gave me the results you see in my photos.
