GoPro The Remote - Official GoPro Accessory

Very easy to pair. Just after pairing the remote went through what seemed like a firmware update that was quite reassuring. The remote works great. Connectivity and responsiveness are perfect. Very happy. It’s worth the higher cost.

This remote is a fantastic tool that I use to multi-cam my GoPros. I have 2 hero 12s and a Hero Max 360 and they can all talk to the remote. I have yet to test it outside of a moving car, but I used it on my scooter with all my cameras and it did a great job. I haven't dug around in the settings too much yet, I remember the old remote could change video quality and stuff, not sure if this one can do it. It was a pricey buy, but I think it's well worth the money.

WORKS GREAT AND NOT TO BIG. SCREEN COULD BE A LITTLE BIT BRIGHTER BUT IT CONTROLS ALL MY GO PROS PERFECTLY.

I use this when I ski so I can easily find out if I fumbled around with my gloves and turned my GoPro Hero 13 Black on or off by accident.So far, in below freezing temps I have had no issues getting a full day charge. There have been a few times when I have had to pair it with the GoPro on the slopes but it takes 1 minute once I got the hang of it. Slightly annoying but that may be the GoPro and not the controller.My biggest gripe would be the length of the strap that comes with it. It needs to be longer to slip further up my arm because the gauntlet gets in the way. I was able to replace the strap with longer Velcro tie down that works perfectly but it was a pain searching for something that would slip through the loop and not be too long or too short.All-in-all it makes starting and stopping recording on my GoPro so much better with winter gloves on while skiing.

This remote is outstanding compared to the previous "Smart Remote" version. I went fishing for over 8 hours with the remote on controlling 3 GoPros and the battery only went down 8%! So 1 % per hour is outstanding. The control of the cameras was flawless all day.

Great remote

I love this remote. Instead of fiddling with the camera and causing it to shake, the remote made it easy to turn on/off, set settings and check the recording status.

I'll say out front there's nothing really wrong with the item. It's just that this little remote is way too expensive for what it does which is basically just starting and stopping your cameras. Yeah, you can start multiple cameras at once but it's still way too expensive. The build quality is better than the last design in my opinion. Just make this thing cheaper GoPro!
