I purchased this toy to keep at my house for my grandkids. I had purchased it from a store years ago and gave it to a child as a gift. The parents loved it as much as the child. It’s very easy to set up. Takes three AA batteries for the car and the kids and parents alike both love it.

My kids love this and spend hours with it! Note: you’ll probably want to buy two of these or a bigger set to make a cooler track. It only comes with one car .. I definitely thought there were two in each box so I was bummed. You can buy more cars separately but would have preferred the kit to come with more.

Big hit for the boys. They have so much fun and so do the grown men when we have get togethers and the kids are playing with the track.

The media could not be loaded. I bought my original magic tracks kit like 6 years ago before I had kids because it glows and I thought it was cool. Now that I have kids, I had to get more track and more cars. My 1 year old loves it! He crawls in and on to the track and the track just adjusts and bends with ease.I think this is quite safe. The only parts to be concerned about is the stickers and the screwdriver (each package of 4 cars comes with 1 screwdriver). But we avoided putting the stickers on for now and just keep the screwdrivers with our extra batteries. Speaking of which, the original magic tracks kits cars take 3AAA batteries and the new additional 4 pack cars take 2AA batteries.The cars drive at a good speed that my kids enjoy and can keep up with. Overall this a great buy and I am very pleased with my purchase. If you are looking for a gift, this is only like $20 and it brings countless hours of playtime and it's fun for the whole family!

The media could not be loaded. Updated review: We have had this for 1.5 weeks. It was a big hit with the kids so we ordered the 18ft track to extend it. When that track arrived I discovered they are not the same color and the new track glows in the dark whereas this one does not even though it’s advertised to do so. I verified they are supposedly the same brand. Also the car that came with it broke within 4 days. Meanwhile the supplementary cars I bought from another brand are still going strong. Still love the set. Just disappointed in the car quality and fact that the tracks do not look or function as advertised.This is a great car and track set! Easy to assemble the track - you just snap the pieces together. They are flexible so you can shape the track however you want. It does glow in the dark but the room has to be totally dark for it to work.The only downside is that it comes with only one car. My son broke the plastic ring around one of the back tires within 5 minutes so not sure about the long term durability of the wheels, but it still works just fine. The car itself takes 3 triple A batteries and is large and made of thick plastic.We ended up buying additional cars that are compatible with the track since one car wasn’t enough for our 4 kids ;)
