Entertaining build, interesting mechanics
The media could not be loaded. The SG-12 was entertaining to build. The function of the tube magazine is very interesting. The only issue is the magazine would try to dump all the rounds after racking the slide once. This was happening because the shell catch wasn't resetting. I fixed this by cutting the spring from a pen in half and placed it to assist the shell catch in resetting (see video).

Sand and wax a lot
This was a really fun build and looks great, but I guess I didnt sand and wax enough so getting it to load into the chamber properly barely works. You will probably need more wax because they dont give you a lot

Buy this gun, but I warn you, these wooden puzzle builds are addicting!
The media could not be loaded. I started my wooden gun puzzle journey with the ROKR brand AK-42 and then the Tommy Submachine Gun before purchasing this Wood Trick brand Shotgun SG-12. I’ve noticed several differences between the two brands. First the ROKR brand guns were about $40 each and the Wood Trick gun was about $50. The ROKR guns were built using several different thicknesses of wood (mostly very thin) and springs/metal rods/screws. The Wood Trick gun was all very thick and quality wood with rubber bands instead of metal springs. The parts for the Wood Trick gun fit together tighter and I needed to use a small hammer for some minor hammering. The Wood Trick gun shoots wooden bullets where the ROKR guns shoot rubber bands. The PROs of the ROKR were higher attention to small detail and written directions along with pictures. The PROS of the Wood Trick was quality/thickness of the wood and sturdiness of the final build. The Wood Trick assembly instructions are just pictures with no written instructions, but they are still easy to understand. The ROKR included plenty of wax for the AK-47 but I think they forgot to include it for the Tommy Gun. The Wood Trick had a very small amount of wax, and I ended up running out and having to use the left-over wax from my ROKR kit. Both brands included plenty of spare wooden parts. I liked that the Wood Trick brand kept all the spare parts on the same last board, so you knew they were spares. It was also easier to locate the part I needed from several boards because they were mostly numbered in order where the ROKR has a letter for each board and then a number for each piece. All in all, I would recommend buying a Wood Trick SG-12 Shotgun because the of quality of the materials and how sturdy the final build is. Make sure to USE ALL THE WAX and do plenty of sanding! The gun does jam occasionally, but I think that’s what you can expect from a wooden gun. Try buying this gun, but I warn you, these wooden puzzle builds are addicting!

Fun little build, that actually works
The fact that it is a functioning, pump type weapon, made from plywood is pretty freaking amazing. When the magazine is full, rubber band at full stretch, it sometimes will jam by pushing out an extra bullet. If it didn't do that, it would be 5 stars.
