A little support might be all you need!
A small and lightweight suspension mount. I needed something to isolate the light and plasticky Zoom H3VR and initially thought of a Rycote. This little mount's flimsiness works in its favour for such a small recorder as the thin flexible strips flex where one suitable for a heavier recorder might not. And it's a fraction of the price of the big brand - recommended!

A must-have accessory for the Zoom H1
This mount is a good match to flat base hand-held recorders with standard quarter inch mounting sockets such as the Zoom H series or the Tascams. The large supporting plate and screw fitting gives a much more secure and compact attachment than the more common "cat's cradle" designs, and this inspires confidence for field use. When fitted to the hotshoe on a camcorder, the raised shape of the mount means it doesn't interfere with operation of the rear controls. But is it effective? When testing it using a sound recorder fitted to tripod stand and inflicting some fairly hefty bumps and drags onto the stand, I found this mount was reducing the noise of the shock events by around 20db. In the same tests, the cat's cradle shockmount was achieving around 22db reduction, so the cats cradle is just slightly better than this mount at the loud end of the range but both designs are very effective when considering more realistic shocks. If you have used the Zoom H1 range, you will know that they are very susceptible to even light handling noise. Using this mount on a short pole completely eliminates that problem and greatly improves the handheld recording quality. This shock mount is well made, more practical than the traditional shock mounts, quick to set up, inexpensive, and highly effective. For me it has instantly become a must-have accessory for the H1 range. Highly recommented.

Great for vloggers on the go!
Perfectly for mounting mics and recorders ontop of your camera, with anticlockwise making recording a little more secure. Purchased to use with the LS-P4, by Olympus, it loses a star for not having an adapter for the smaller thread, common which is common for several recording devices.Very easy to use, and will be a great benefit for vloggers and podcasters when interviewing out and about.

Cheep but cheerful and handy
A little fidly to tighten up but very handy and very useful, I used it for my zoom recorder and it stops the vibrations from being recorded

Quality Product
I’m using this as a shock absorber for my Tascam X8 sound recorder and it’s been great so far. Nothing to complain.Thanks.

Works as a camera mount
This is well made and offers 2 different screw mounting options as well as a cold shoe, however it doesn’t damp out handling noise very well. Initially I assumed this was because the Zoom H1e I was using with was too light so I added a fairly chunky quick release to the top (this weighed more than the h1 on its own) and this made no difference it provides a barely perceptible reduction in handling noise.

Excellent value and quality
I use this with a field recorder and I'm really surprised at just how much it reduces handling noise. It's not going to make it silent handling, but it's dampened the sound a lot. It also feels pretty well made and it's a reasonable price, what's not to like?
