Big improvement in humidifier design.
Very efficient humidifier. We have a very large bedroom. I didn't think I would like the phone app much but was surprised how convenient it is to have. I like the auto-shut off when the humidity gets 5% over target level. I filled the unit 4 days ago when it was pretty dry outside (I live in New Mexico, we do DRY very well). Some weather moved in and I still have 2/3 tank full since the humidity rose. My old humifier had to be filled twice a day regardless of weather. This model is much smarter and incredibly more efficient. I think it nebulizes the water to a finer mist so we get more humidity per liter. The night light is a nice touch (and you can turn it off with your phone, convenient when you're in bed and quite a distance from the unit)

Greatest little humidifier!
These are great!!! They do an excellent job of bringing the humidity up and maintaining it. The settings are in a touch screen and so easy to read and use. I'm short and in my late 70's with arthritis in both my hands so I needed a product that was lightweight and easy to use. These humidifiers fit the bill perfectly. To fill with water you just lift off the plastic top and pour the water in. To empty and clean, you just lift the water tank off the base and tip it into the sink. The round cap on the top pulls off for easy cleaning, and both the water tank and the base are easy to clean. I do recommend that, unless you are using distilled water, you clean the tank and base weekly or there will be a build up of scum or whatever it is that gets harder to clean over time.

Ease of Use
I was really surprised how easy setup and cleaning was for this humidifier. The smart feature is handy when you connect it to your phone.

Great Device with Minor Flaws That Can Be Fixed
I’ve had this device for a couple weeks and have a few issues I’d like to point out:The ‘low’ setting produces a relatively loud high-pitched sound that I’m very sensitive to, so I cannot sleep with it on low. Fortunately, I use the auto setting, which rarely drops to low before turning off. The noise seems to come from the ultrasonic diaphragm, not the fan or other components, indicating the device is likely operating as intended. I've seen similar behavior in other ultrasonic humidifiers after trying several models. Ironically, medium/high settings are quieter than low and just produce more mist without that dreadful high-pitch sound. The app should not be necessary for all features. Out of the box, the available settings are low, medium, high, and auto. Auto defaults to 50% relative humidity, which is unreasonable, as no online resource I could find recommends an indoor relative humidity that high. For use in winter the commonly recommended range is 30-40%, and anything higher could encourage mold growth or excessive condensation. The app is needed to adjust the target humidity, which I strongly recommend you do, otherwise, you risk wasting power, water, and creating adverse effects from excess humidity. The device really should have an additional button to adjust target humidity, or repurpose an existing like holding the power level button or something which could be added in firmware.Auto mode also needs improvement. It runs the humidifier full blast until it exceeds your target by 5% and stops, not restarting until humidity falls 5% below the target. When I set my target to reasonable 35%, the room stayed very dry at under 30%, and the humidifier barely ran leaving the room quite uncomfortable. I adjusted to 45%, so it starts at 40% and runs to 50%, which I’ve found is a nice balance where the room mostly hangs closer to 40%. However, auto mode mostly runs on high, producing an excessive amount of vapor. I had to push the humidifier to the edge of my dresser to avoid moisture on the wall. I can only imagine using this on a shorter nightstand next to your bed risks soaking your floor or bed with how much mist this thing can kick out.Additionally, firmware updates are applied when connected to the app, indicating potential fixes for some issues I’ve encountered could be made. The 10% range in auto mode is far too large. I believe a 5% range would be much more ideal. I’d like to be able to set to 40%, it would then run until 42.5% and start again after falling to 37.5%, maintaining a more comfortable and controlled humidity level. Limiting mist power in auto would also help. My previous Winix humidifier allowed you to set the humidity target and limit power level. I would prefer limiting mist to medium to avoid any issues with excessive moisture when on the high setting.I also found a bug. The device allows turning off the display while activating the nightlight, but in the app, if you turn off the display, it reactivates when you turn on the nightlight. This requires manual adjustments on the device itself before bed, which is inconvenient and can be fixed in the app.Despite these issues, I still consider this a very good product. It's visually appealing, unlike most humidifiers which look like an unsightly medical device, and it works well. It puts water in the air, runs quietly (except on low if you're sensitive to high pitch sounds), and its 'smart' features work relatively well.

Effective and unobtrusive
Absolutely silent. Clouds of vapor. Easy to fill and reasonably easy to clean. Phone app control works well and is easy to use.

Huge Leak Due to Manufacturing Error
I filled it up per instructions, put the tank on the humidifier and noticed it didn't fill up the bottom compartment like my previous humidifier. Strange. Plugged it in. It appeared to be powering on, but no steam. I noticed the device was blinking saying no water. I take off the tank, see that there is no water in the lower compartment. It says not to add the water to the bottom compartment but surely my unit is defective somehow so I put a small amount in the bottom compartment just to see if the sensor goes away. It works. I walk away, a few minutes later my nightstand has a small puddle and it's dripping onto the table. That's upsetting. I power off the device, it doesn't appear to be leaking anymore. I have to leave for dinner.I come home a few hours later and notice my downstairs media center is wet. Horrified I look up to the ceiling below my humidifier and see several wet spots on the ceiling. My heart sinks, I run upstairs and see that the entire thing emptied out onto the carpet. I had to rip up the carpet and put a fan on it to attempt to dry up the carpet pad and subfloor. In troubleshooting it I remove the filter and see that the silicone seals are just floating in there. That doesn't seem right. Nothing in the manual about how these seals should look or work so I can't verify. I look at my old humidifier and notice that it has a spring-rod with a very similar silicone sealer. I look at my brand new one, there's no such spring-rod. I'm looking all over the box to see if it had fallen out in there, turns out the missing piece had fallen out in the bathtub. Must have been during the initial fill up.The spring-rod requires a lot of downward force to remove if attached to the two sealers correctly. I can't be sure of exactly what happened, but I think the seals weren't attached to the spring rod correctly in manufacturing and that caused it to easily fall out. Double and triple check that the bottom of your tank has a spring-rod coming out the bottom, and remove the filter to see that the top of that spring-rod has two silicone sealers attached to it before operation.I may update my review later, it seems better than my last humidifier now that I fixed it, but this issue has caused me to be unable to run it as I now need to dehumidify my space to avoid mold issues.
