Curetted a large buried foxtail awn from inside my dog's foot (but I have 38 years as a trained professional). Quality is good. I keep it handy for our trips to the mountains.

I used this to remove a plantar wart by myself. the size is perfect for the size of a plantar wart. The handle is a good size to get a grip without being too large or too small. The metal is plenty sturdy for the purpose. The scalloped end is not as sharp as I expected or what I would really want, but it's probably safer to use since it isn't razor sharp. I dabbed the wart with an acid based wart remover and used clear nail polish once that dried to help suffocate the virus. Every 2 or 3 days, I used this instrument to scrape at the dead area of the wart. I repeated for a few weeks and gave my wound a week or so to recover. The infected area seemed like it still had remains of ward after a couple of session, so I repeated about 3 times total. It may have just been where the skin was regenerating, but the area seemed smaller each time and after 3 times I think it's gone. I'm still monitoring to make sure it doesn't come back, but I've fought this same wart for about 3 years now and finally have it gone. 4 stars only because this could be sharper, but really I felt safer using it because it was a little dull.

The product arrived open simply thrown into a mailing envelope. The blade was virtually nonexistent, and the scoop was very poorly machined. On examination there were many toolbars clearly visible from where this item was milled or otherwise machined. On a positive note the tool itself is sturdy and doesn't have any major structural flaws that I have seen. However the dullnes and shoddy workmanship, coupled with the complete lack of concern displayed in the packaging makes it a clear that I do not recommend this item at all. It isn't good for much aside from being a low quality paperweight, or perhaps a vastly undersized ice cream scoop. Don't waste your money.

Good quality, very tiny scoop tho. I wanted to use it to debride summer sore on my horse and it was too small and sharp.

Not nearly as sharp as I expected, and skin tends to compress and get stuck in the scoop. Would no repurchase.
