Revolution R270 High-Speed Touchscreen Toaster, 2-Slice Smart Toaster with Patented InstaGLO Technology & Gluten-Free, Panini & 16 Bread Modes

This toaster has a touch screen allowing you to select about 15 different types of foods you can prepare with the toaster. I bought the special panini/grilled cheese attachments that goes in the right side of the toaster. I also bought the warming rack. My daughter at first said she had seen a YouTube video where somebody used it and their bread was still not toasted, and in our household we think that's gross so right off the bat before we even tried it we were skeptical of its quality. So we put two pieces of bread in the panini maker, closed it and put it in the toaster, selected the number three after selecting a picture of Panini on the touch screen and pressing the Go Button. The toaster automatically lowers whatever your preparing which is kind of cool. So we waited and it was done pretty quick. During the preparation the toaster doesn't just apply heat in one way like a traditional toaster, it has different phases during the preparation based on what type of food you are preparing, things like toasting, crisping, and other such action keywords. So it finished quickly we took it out cut it in half and ate half each and could not believe how great it came out. My daughter said that the YouTube channel it was wrong which is a huge statement because YouTube to her is kind of like what encyclopedias were to the previous generation. Since then we have tried the Pop-Tart setting, which worked great, they don't call it Pop-Tart probably for copyright reasons, I think it was called pastry, we've made lots of regular toast and we've used the warming rack that sits on top of the toaster and is in my picture on the left side to heat things up like muffins. Everything seems to work really great. At the moment it seems to be everybody's favorite Appliance in the kitchen.

They’re literally is no better toaster than this toaster. I got it on a lightning deal about six months ago and it is still working. Perfect! The amount of compliments I get from this is insane. Is it expensive, yes, but is it worth it, yes. We had a flood in our kitchen and could not use, any appliances so this was the only way I could make a grilled cheese sandwich for my som. My son is eight and he can load the bread and cheese into the Panini press on his own and make it all by himself. I read other reviews that it does not toast to the color of the picture and we have not had that issue at all. And honestly, if that was an issue, I would just simply toast it longer. That alone would not be a reason for me to not buy this.

First off this toaster is beautiful. There’s no doubt about that. Very beautiful but a piece of junk. I bought my first Revolution Insta-glo 270 and it broke in two months. I was so taken with the looks of the Insta glow, I foolishly bought another one. Lo and behold this one broke in one month! For a price tag of almost $500 I would expect better quality. The second toaster I bought the warranty, so I should be good. BUT we shall see. The second toaster tripped all my breakers and knocked out my power in the Kitchen. Luckily, I have a handy husband. I wasn’t going to write a review but my husband insisted that I do. I don’t know if you have $500 to throw away but I threw it away twice. I will not be buying a third Insta glow toaster, no matter how beautiful! Luckily, I kept my trusty Cuisnart, Just in case. (You could see the photo of my beautiful Cuisinart in the background..) At this point, my concept of beauty has changed and now I will go for something that will work more than one or two months. Lol! beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If you have money to throw away, than by all means, do buy this toaster. . If you’re looking for quality however, I would say get a Cuisnart, a Breville .. anything other than this nice looking piece of junk.. There should be a recall on all these toasters.

It's a great toaster but it burned out and went cold after owning it with moderate use for 18 months. Had I spent $50 then I could accept that easier, but a $400 toaster should last several years and come with an included 3 yr warranty. Sadly, I just checked and it comes with a 1 year warranty unless you pay more for an extended. I feel like I DID pay more, hundreds more for a toaster that should be better made. I haven't dealt with CS yet so we'll see. If they send me a new toaster then I'll update this review.... UPDATE***: And that's exactly what happened! Happily, after I contacted Customer Service they promptly emailed back (even called me when I missed their original email, wow) and sent some troubleshooting guidance. When that didn't work they asked for a photo of the SN Placard on the bottom of the toaster, a copy of the original Amazon order, and they immediately sent out a new toaster. They even paid for shipping both ways! Couldn't have asked for better service and wish more companies who sell premium products would take this as a lesson. This toaster is back to 5 stars!

my son zach told me to order it it was a great gift but cooks very fast i would put it on level 1 2 or 3 if you don't want it to be burnt but a fantastic toaster for my bday and works well if i am getting ready for work and running late it cooks faast as hell which is perfect for me Zach is the best at resserching everything so i see why he wanted me to buy a $449.99 toaster. 🥪
