This is just what I was looking for. But I am using it to weigh my 20lb Propane tanks. Works perfectly and is 1/3 the cost of the some of the fancy scales that are sold for that purpose.

I needed a scale to determine the weight of my backpack and daypacks loaded with various stuff as well as the weight of some of items. I do not need a super-accurate scaleAccuracy - It seems less accurate then my two table digital scales (also bought on amazon for >$15). Weights are lighter with this scale.Data Lock - rarely works.Handle - if you have normal-sized to larger hands, the handle is smallOther than the issues above, it meets my needs. the readout is easy to see with the backlight, it is easy and fast to use.

The company contacted me immediately, resolved the problem - I received the wrong model, they sent the correct one - worked great with weighing luggage and is safe to use for fishing now with no open wires or holes in the unit! Thank you!!Orig: Worked for luggage weight check, kind of, it was hard to read for heavy bags because I had to hold the bag close to my body to lift. Had an open port on the side I did not feel was safe. Since they sent me the wrong model, and there is now no place to get water in I felt it was safe to send out with family and husband in the woods for fishing.

Just what I needed. Not everything fits adequately on my shipping scale, therefore this is perfect for the larger items.Easy to use, always correct weight.

Seems to be accurate enough

Probably good for fish but not for luggage.I bought this to weigh my luggage. The grips seem to be better designed than other hand held scales I've seen online and the number lock is greatly appreciated, but it's dang near impossible to get a accurate read for items over 40 lbs.I'm pretty strong, but trying to get the scale to stay steady while you're lifting 50 lbs into the air with one hand is like a circus feat. I can never hold 50 lbs stable enough for the number lock to lock.There might be some sort of hanging apparatus one can MvGuyver to hang the device onto, to then hang a piece of luggage onto, but I bought this item to be portable and packable for travel.I'll still bring this device because of its portability, but there should be a better, portable solution for weighing luggage.
