Q: Does the light being that close to the camera lens effect the vision? Does it create a glare at night?

During the day I haven’t noticed any problems with the lens. Sometimes with the sun is really bright I can’t see the turn signals on the back of the rig when they are on. I haven’t driven it at night to so I can’t answer about night glare.

Q: What all can you see with the camera that comes in this package? The back only, or can you also see side views?

The camera that comes with in this system only points backwards and has a 120° field of view. Depending on how the system is wired it can be used as a traveling observation system (meaning you can view several lanes traffic coming up behind you while driving), it can also be use as a security system because of it's motion sensor (on any time you want it on) or it can be used as a backup camera only (which will only work while vehicle is in reverse). This system can be upgraded to accommodate four (4) cameras. The side and door cameras are sold separately and would be an added bonus to your traveling experience. I am an old trucker and only use it in tight spots and when it is needed it is there. Looking back now I think it would have been a better buy if I had bought the four camera system in the beginning. If you do buy either system be sure to read your RV manual before installing. The reason I say that is there can be three different industry wiring standards involved here: a. wiring a vehicle (DC), b. wiring a house (AC) and c. wiring a tow behind (DC) hence the green wire could be ground or the power wire. DON'T FRY YOUR SYSTEM before you get to use it. I hope this not only answered your question but gave you vital information as well. , infrared night vision, 720 x 480 resolution,

Q: Can I mount this on the front of the camper looking down at the hitch area, I already have a shark fin model in the rear of my camper.

You can but you would have to change the lens from a red to amber. Red can’t face forward! Other issue would be if your front clearance lights are inset. If that’s the case, this wouldn’t mount flush.

Q: can I use the Furion system as a back up and forward look camera on my Nissan 2017 prox 4x4 truck?

Yes, it can be used as a full time observation of backup camera.
