Truly satisfying results from a remarkable cleaning product for an old-timer
I am an 80-year-old male with gradually decreasing flexibility, especially for cleaning my bathtub/shower. I bought Wet and Forget Shower solution to transform what was for me a very challenging task into something I could comfortable live with. I had high expectations based on Amazon reviews, but it sounded too good to be true, anyway. It wasn't!From what I read about the product, I realized that removing the product from the shower walls and tub would require some volume of water, and my shower head would in no way suffice. I looked at Amazon shower head offerings and purchased the highly flexible Cobbe product. The Cobbe shower head/sprayer was extremely easy to install, in spite of my initial instinct to make it more difficult than it turned out to be, based on years of household plumbing experiences. I removed old Teflon tape and applied new to the water supply spout extending from the wall. I then threaded and manually tightened each connection, per included installation instructions. After tightening each joint as much as I could by hand, the ball adjustment for the final angle of the spray head remained fully flexible. With some trepidation, I turned on the water supply and looked for the inevitable small leaks on one of more of the joints. There were none! I waited a few moments and opened the shower head to spray some water, and all was well. I turned it back off. Still no leaks. I then opened the convenient sprayer control and obtained a strong spray, ideal for cleaning the tub and shower walls. Excellent results from Cobbe! After taking a shower with the new Cobbe shower head, I then applied the Wet and Forget Shower solution with the provided spray applicator. My tub and tiled shower walls were pretty nasty after months of neglect, and prior reviews warned that it might take multiple applications/removals to get things clean. After allowing the product to sit idle for 8 hours, per instructions, I used the Cobbe sprayer with hot water to remove the Wet and Forget from the walls and tub. The strong, hot spray quickly did a far better than expected job of removing the assorted soap scum and whatever black and orange junk that was scattered here and there around the tub. The stuff streamed off the walls and tub sides and down the drain. It took almost no time for this to take place. Due to the extremely nasty condition that was presented for cleaning, the initial application/removal was not perfect. I estimate that about 10-15% remained here and there in the grout between tiles and in corner joints. Overall appearance was markedly improved, but not perfect, so I kept going. I applied another dose of Wet and Forget to the remaining dirty areas and let them sit for about 11 hours, from morning to evening. I repeated the hot spray removal process and most of the residual grime washed away immediately. There remained about 5% of what I started with, so I went thru the process again. After another 9 hours, I sprayed again and almost everything was gone. I attacked the few stubborn areas with a toothbrush for about 3-4 minutes and sprayed hot water again. There remain a few light stains in a corner joint, but the rest of the tub and shower are clean as a whistle. I am absolutely delighted with the results and will now begin using the Wet and Forget product once a week, as suggested on the product container. For you younger users using the product on less neglected tubs/showers, I have no doubt that your results will be even more immediate and satisfying.

Best thing I have found so far.
We have a custom walk in shower that is about 14 years old. Last couple of years the pan has worn, collected soap, oil, dirt etc. We tried every type of spray, cleaners, baking powder, dawn etc., and nothing worked. Found this and after a day of spraying and letting it set for an hour, wiping and repeating a few times the pan looks the best it has in years. This stuff worked for us and will say by far it is the most successful product we have found.

Works well
I use this to clean my shower and it works well. I like the spray nozzle and that it is easy to use. It doesn’t have too strong of a smell either. I leave it on for a few hours then scrub/wash it off later and it removes all the soap scum build up. You do need to be careful when replacing the nozzle after using because it can leak if not.

Shiny, shiny, shiny
To start, I haven’t written a review in a hot minute. For this cleaner I had to because it is just that good! Reading the reviews it really looked too good to be true and was pretty expensive for me. Let me tell you it’s worth every single penny!Unlike most of the other reviews where they cleaned after spraying, I didn’t. I sprayed after my shower and waited until the next day and rinsed my shower. Quite a bit was cleaned, I sprayed again and left it until the next day. I rinsed the cleaner off. The shower was almost perfectly clean. The stainless steel was so shiny!! Let me tell you, my shower was pretty dirty with soap scum, so to see it be so clean without me scrubbing my fingers off was amazing. I did one more spray and rinse and my shower and stainless steel looked amazing!!!! Now I’m on a once a week schedule! Don’t take time to think about buying this, just buy it. You’ll be happy you did!

And the jury is still out........
My wife saw the reviews for this shower cleaner and placed an order. Despite arriving quickly, it was a few days before it got its first use. To put it plainly: We were underwhelmed. Did it remove the dirty soap scum from the bottom of our shower-tub? We'll yes, but you really had to look to see it. To be fair, this is a brand-new cast iron Kohler, full-sized tub. It has a simple, but beautiful stark-white finish, with a good portion of the tub-bottom covered with a non-slip surface that greedily collects "everything" (you know what soap scum includes), so the bottom of our tub winds up looking dingy and dirty most of the time. I've cleaned it a number of times, bringing it back to looking new each time, but within days it starts to take on "that look." I've used the soft-scrub type cleaners, with and without bleach (the ones with bleach work the best) on 3M-type scouring pads, as well as rag towels. This works well, but my arm gets worn out and it takes a lot of time. I even bought a name-brand powered scrubber designed to do this kind of work. It uses similar scouring pad materials sized to fit its little round drive plate. This works too, but it took so long that I had to recharge it to finish the job, and my arm hurt almost as much as doing it by hand! Enter "Wet and Forget." Well, like I said, we were underwhelmed, and as I type this the tub is now sitting with its third application of Wet and Forget. I'm sure that when we run the water to rinse it down tonight the tub will look "better," but I feel confident that the result be another "close, but no cigar" outcome. Well, the bottle does give you a lot of cleaner that you can apply, and so far my arm hasn't felt tired or sore at all, but the tub still looks dirty and dingy, although now it includes clean spots where the cleaner has lifted the soil. We'll keep spraying (after all this stuff wasn't cheap and eventually it may finish the job), we just wonder if we'll need to order a second bottle to get the tub clean! I suppose if we could have ordered our tub without the safety-treads feature we wouldn't have this problem, but I don't know if you can order any tub without the safety-treads the way the safety-crazies are now. I have to admit, those treads have saved me more than once from slipping while showering, so I guess we're glad they're there. As for "Wet and Forget": We'll get back to you.
