UNCO Smoker Gasket - 15 Ft, 1/2"X1/8", High Temp Grill & BBQ Gasket

The UNCO smoker gasket has been a great upgrade for my pit. Installation was simple—the adhesive backing sticks well, and once applied it creates a tight, even seal around the doors. No more smoke leaking out from the edges, and it really helps hold steady temps during longer cooks.The material feels durable and heat-resistant, so I expect it to last a long time even with frequent use. It compresses nicely without breaking down, and cleanup is easy after a session.Since adding this gasket, my smoker is running more efficiently and producing better, more consistent results. For such an inexpensive upgrade, it makes a big difference.

Works very well. Placed this item on pur new charbroiler and its holds in the smoke and heat really well now. It is very sticky and is hard to get started but worth it. Great for temperature control. Its been over 6 months and still working well and in places

Hold Fairly well. I bought a cheap offset smoker and the first time I tested it out, smoke leaked from every crack. I put the gasket over all the places that leaked, and it works great now! Perfect size for my offset, even have a bunch leftover. Easy to peel back and apply.

I actually used this as a gap filler for the air inlet and exhaust gas outlet on my tankless water heater. It works great and the felt adhesive is very sticky. It adhered well to the PVC pipe and was just thick enough for the stainless steel vent pipes with hose clamps to seal well.

This replaced the seal on my smoker that I burned off due to it overheating and having a bit of a grease fire. It was of quality and fit the lid easily. Seems durable and retains the heat and smoke in my smoker. Would purchase again. Does not have any off smell.

I used this gasket on my Kamado Joe Grill Control Tower. The factory gasket was allowing the control tower to move around, so I put these on in 2024 to tighten up the seal. It stopped the movement. It's now 1/2 way through the 2025 grilling season and it's held up well. No smoke leaking from the gasket. However, the fit is no longer as tight, and the control tower can move slightly. It's not a deal breaker, as I can just apply new gasket as there is lots of extra.

The product does adhere to the grill, but is somewhat thin on the felt area. I was hoping for a wider piece. On the effectiveness, the gasket did handle the heat, but didn’t do a lot for the smoke loss, but this may be due to the type of gap in my grill hood. I think a solid, braided gasket is likely what I need. The product isn’t bad, just not the most effective. It was inexpensive, so I do think there is value there for minor fixes, but I don’t have a lot of hope for the longevity of the product.

Used this on a Traeger Pro 20. Placed it on the underside of the door instead of on the barrel. This tape is very sticky, you only get one shot because you have to destroy it to remove any mistake. This also makes removing the tape backing a little bit of a challenge. Makes your smoker door close quietly like a bank vault and zero smoke leakage. Instantly, temp control is very stable. On the Traeger, I placed it flush with edge of door all the way around and got a perfect seal. This isn’t the highest temp gasket you can buy, neither is the Traeger the hottest grill you can buy. The heat range of this gasket is well beyond the ability of the Traeger.
