VanEssential Rear Door Half Bug Screen with Privacy Panel Designed for Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van High Roof Van Years 2007- Current (Models:VS30 & NCV3)

I love this. Back when I started vanlife none of these specialized products existed and I had to design and make my own. While the one I made gapped a bit (held on just by magnets sown in), I made it so that it was only screen on the top and solid fabric on the bottom for garage privacy. I was thrilled to find a product that also allowed for garage privacy.I installed this backwards so that I can roll the black-out fabric up or down from inside and it is perfect! It was a little tricky to install and required a friend, a ladder, and a hammer, but we got the job done. Whenever I open my back doors, I still exclaim, "I love my screen!" - it's been months!The quality is exceptional and the price is a good value.

Have a 2022 Sprinter covering could be a tad bit larger, left openings on part of the window due to skimping of size and one window covering was a bit smaller than the other one Could have had more magnets and we got a bit of a breeze during the night and one of the covers almost was completely unattached as magnets did not reach complete window. Would have been great if they just made them a little bit larger with more powerful or more magnets.

Short version: I love it (I should specify that I bought the rear door screen as it seems Amazon combines reviews for the rear and side/sliding door screens). It's high quality (be leery of the "magnetic" screens - the ones I've seen had poor quality screen and have weak magnets that don't stay in place).Besides quality material, it's great that you have multiple options: (1) open it entirely, or (2) open just the bottom half to remove gear, or (3) just expose the screen at the top for ventilation within the van - and for ventilation over the bed at night.Install tips: there are no in box instructions - the manufacturer provides a card with a QR Code for digital instructions. That's fine, but I'd like to add a few tips.(1) It is suggested this is a 2-person install - I agree! Working solo, I 'installed' it twice but I wasn't happy with the alignment - it took me over one hour (~ 1:20). Once I got a helper to hold it, we finished the 3rd and final install in about 25-minutes.(2) The instructions state to start at the top. I partially disagree. Yes - start by clamping it at the top, but we found that permanently 'fastening' it from the bottom-up gave a much better result (in the first attempt).(3) Put the helper on a step stool and have them hold the sides - and stretch [or rather pull] the sides straight. Yes, when permanently fastening you want & need some slack, but if the helper holds the sides straight with a bit of pressure it will eliminate wrinkles.(4) Once you get back to the top - to permanently fasten it - you can (re)adjust it to mitigate any slack & to make it 100% square.Again, I found it critical to permanently fasten the screen from the bottom and work up so the bottom isn't too long - if the bottom is too long, you'll have trouble latching and/or closing the rear doors.This is top quality - at a top price. You get what you pay for. If you have a camper van that you've invested tens of thousands of dollars, why would you buy & install a 'junky' $100 model. In my opinion, this screen is worth the price.

Can’t recommend. Install extremely difficult. Utilizes metal clips with teeth that scrap paint off and expose bare metal to rust. No weight at bottom nor method to seal the bottom. Rolling up is very difficult and sloppy as has no tube at bottom. Magnet seal not continuous leaving gaps for bugs. All sprinter door outlines are identical yet zero markings nor line of where to clip leaving 5 inches of guesswork. Clips do not hold round corners so always coming down. Material not cut for corners and curves leaving bunched up and scrunched material looking very sloppy. I can only recommend this as a cheap temporary screen well waiting for a higher quality. I can’t believe this company releases this product as is and gets away with it. Missed return window. Review from engineer mathematician artist.

Check out the video on installation. It's not hard but it does take some time to get it all together. The hardest part is positioning/getting it centered. Once thats done, it's just a matter of time. This screen is going to be great when we find our camping spot is buggy. You can store it out of the way by rolling it up if not needed. My dog enjoys the easy access in or out with magnet closure. As far as durability, I'm sure this will last for years. It is not cheaply made and the affordablity is well worth the purchase. We got the rear screen door as wel and we are just as happy. Very happy with these purchases.

Does not fit 2014 Sprinter. Followed instructions. Watched video. Had others try to install it. It’s too small. If they made it an inch or two bigger it would’ve been great. But no one we had try to fit them could get them to fit without gaping mosquito holes. In the corners. Pull one corner to make it fit perfectly and another corner pops. Such a letdown. Also, they are labeled “left” and “right”. There is no such thing as left and right in vehicle windows. It’s “passenger” and “driver”. Facepalm.

Now I can breathe in a fresh air, this is a very nice and well designed product for sprinter van! The magnet is very strong and it’s a wind resistance. People need to pay attention to the direction, there is a left and right ( driver/passenger) side with an arrow pointing to it how to place them!
