shower stool
Bought this after an operation on my foot so I can use in the Bathroom to sit whilst washing. I can also use in the kitchen to do small chores . It is just the job and sturdy. Appears robust and well made. Will be perfect as a shower stool too as soon as I can bathe again. Many uses and a bargain buy. Easily height adjustable . Highly recommend this item.

Check your shower first
This shower stool is great (as long as you don't try to use the washers that come with it), but my shower isn't great for people who need to use a shower stool! I had trouble getting the shower into a position where I wasn't getting too much water in my face to breathe. Also, this product lost a star for the potential for people to encounter problems. The shower stool is very stable, unless you were to use the washers when screwing in the legs. The washers would prevent the legs from being screwed in tightly because the washers don't match the shape of the legs under the stool. You don't need them anyway. I screwed the screws in very tightly without them. The legs aren't going anywhere. I'm very pleased with the stool. It's very sturdy, takes my weight well (I'm 15st) & it's easy to adjust to the right height. It's also easy to keep clean. I would definitely recommend this shower stool & I would buy it again if I needed to.

Excellent Value Shower Stool
Ours Came from Italy, was easy to assemble and looks as good as the NHS types in Hospitals and care homes.Someone with good dexterity and strength should tighten the screws as described and check from month to month to ensure they are all fitting true.I think this is a bargain, it is not made from super cheap materials, more importantly it doesn't look cheap and can handle a very reasonable weight. No corrosion as yet, much too soon to comment really.A thin layer of vaseline on the items legs where they can be adjusted(don't get any on seat or feet) will protect it from any chemical reactions in damp places with or from the exposed metal getting earthed by the metal parts of some damp baths or showers which can cause deterioration with most metals over time.Wouldn't personally know the difference between this £15 one and a £25 one, there are many shower stools that are similar designs. The actual base of the seat is pretty good,it's strong, handles a decent weight,it's not the type with handles so strictly for people who are stable while seated.

Very handy and useful
I have a broken leg and needed some way to be able to take a shower. I have a shower over my bath, and this stool just fits in the bath. The adjustable height on the legs is very handy - I have it at same height as the edge of the bath, this enables me to sit on the bath edge, put my good leg inside the bath, transfer onto the stool and then bring my broken leg in. I also ordered a waterproof protector to protect the bandages, and between these two items I can enjoy a great shower. I also found another really helpful use for the stool. I need to keep my leg elevated, so when I go out, I take the stool and use it to prop up my leg by adjusting the height down to the appropriate level. It was easy to assemble just with a philips head screwdriver.
