Almost a year ago my wife and I lost our little beagle girl to old age. She was 16 years old. We miss her every day. My wife got me this little beagle doggie as a gift to remind me of our little girl. This hand finished sleeping and breathing pup is of great quality and you can see it was crafted with care. It's so cute and also the coat colors are vibrant and shiny, like a real dog. All of it is very well made including it's little doggie bed. It also came with a little dog brush and an adoption certificate so you can name your puppy. I'd recommend this for children or adults who love dogs and for this one, especially beagle dogs. It makes a great gift. Years ago, my Mom gave me one, but it was a golden retriever pup. That one still runs great and looks new! Great products, no matter which pet you choose.

I bought this after my 19-year-old beagle had to be put down due to her age finally catching up with her. I will admit that the craftsmanship on it is so good that I have occasionally mistaken it for being alive.It seems to be based on a beagle puppy rather than an adult. The bed that it comes with is soft and might even be suitable for a real puppy. I do wish that the pet itself was more flexible, as it is fixed into the sleeping position and most of it is very stiff.Other reviews mention that the breathing makes a weird sound, but I personally think that it sounds pretty accurate, like steady snoring. It is also not too loud or intrusive. A switch to toggle the breathing would be nice, though.The carrier box is pretty durable. It is made of some kind of thin cardboard with stiff properties, but I do not expect it to last forever, since it is paper-like and may crumble if exposed to water.

He's adorable and very realistic looking. I wish he were flexible and body parts movable so I can play with him more. It be perfect if he was warm.

I bought as a gift and it is adorable and very high quality. The only thing I didn't like is that the breathing mechanism does not have an on/off switch

I purchased this for my father. He has dementia this product is excellent. The quality is amazing. My father has it sitting next to him on the couch and my father pets the dog constantly. He already named the dog. So happy I purchased this product..

Not as soft as I was hoping for, but the kids like it. They'll probably break it soon by tossing it or leaning on it's breathing apparatus.

I was very disappointed that it was nothing more than a worthless piece of junk.BAD QUALITIESThe breathing sounds like an old run down motor.You can barely see the breathing.It sheds like an actual dog.The seams between the fabric are very apparent and you can easily feel them because the glue holding it together is all crusty and rough.Instead of plastic for the closed eyes, the just painted a little bit of fur black, and you can easily lift up that part. What would happen if all the paint came off. Would you want a dog without eyes?The bristles fall out of the brush.The bottom of the dog is just one giant piece of plastic.The sides of the bed have cushion, but not the bottom.It only has 3 legs. I know the dog is laying down, but it seems a little strange that you don’t even see the possibility of there being a fourth leg.GOOD QUALITIESThe body was soft and huggable.It was cute.Overall I am very disappointed having worked for two weeks to earn this.Do not buy this it is a waste of money.
