It actually works
We had water marks on our wall and after trying everything could not get rid but this was a miracle easy to use and smells ok it dries well and after painting over it you will be amazed how well it has worked would recommend this to anyone as the coverage works easily and not like syrup or too thick but great to use.

Needed several coats
Needed several coats for water stain. Still some showing with paint on top when dried. Guessing it needs ever more. I'd say this product is fair. Wouldn't rush to buy it again. Stain is dry as small leak fixed so it's not covered because it's still wet.

Great as a stain blocker and a primer
I initially bought this as a stain blocker after we had a rather unfortunate incident when our bath leaked and soaked in to the brand new plaster we'd just had applied in our sitting room. The wall had dried so it looked ok, but every time I painted over it, yellow would bleed through. I applied 2 coats of this and then another 2 coats of the emulsion and it covered really well.I'd only used a tiny amount and so also used it as a primer on new skirting board. Our gloss in our new home was so yellow that it needed 3 coats to cover it. So when we did the next room, I used this primer to coat all the gloss first and then we only needed 2 coats of gloss. It's much easier to apply this than it is gloss, so it made the job much easier. I've bought another tin of this now so, it's definitely a winner in my books.

Went on well but stain still showing
I’m not sure if it was how I applied it but even after a few coats the stain is still showing through. Smallish sized tin but still have a little left to try another coat.

Great
Really impressed with this! Covered ceiling stain from leaking roof in two coats. Thought it was a little runny at first but it was fine. Easy cleaning of myself AND the brushes😉Happy to recommend another good Rustin product.
