Amazing Sound & Super Comfortable – Totally Worth It
These DT 990 PROs are honestly some of the best headphones I’ve ever used — especially for the price. If you’re into music, gaming, or just love great sound, you’ll probably love these too.First off, they’re super comfy. The ear pads are soft and feel great, even during long sessions. I can wear them for hours without my ears hurting or feeling too warm. They're big, but not in a bad way — more like a cozy cloud for your head.As for the sound quality — wow. The audio is super clear and detailed. The bass is strong but not overpowering, the highs are crisp, and everything feels nicely spaced out. You can really hear all the little layers in your music or game. The open-back design makes the sound feel wide and natural — like you're sitting in a room with speakers, not just wearing headphones. They’re also built like a tank. Really solid and durable, not cheap plastic like a lot of other brands. Just keep in mind the cable is permanently attached, which might be a downside for some. One thing to note: these are the 250-ohm version, so they sound best with an amp or audio interface. They’ll still work with a phone or laptop, but they really shine when properly powered.Bottom line:If you're looking for headphones that sound amazing, feel great, and are built to last, the DT 990 PRO is a fantastic choice. Whether you’re gaming, mixing music, or just vibing to your favorite playlist — they won’t disappoint.

Nice
The media could not be loaded. Not bad not bad.It seems to be lacking sub, BUT that's the point! Your ear has now enough headroom to spot the mixing mistakes you don't hear on the closed backs.I have to A/B these a few times as I've only produced on closed backs lol.Not impressed by the materials quality and I hate the fluffy cups. Don't worry, you will forget that as soon as you focus on the session.Very lightweight and affordable; they seem to be build to last with parts you can replace. As my first pair of openbacks I declare them good 👍 but I will have to run them with SoundID Reference by Sonarworks and choose a different profile with a bit more sub.. This model [990pro] is on their list.

Best headset I’ve used so far
Being a gamer I’ve used many many headsets over the years, most of them break pretty easy or have issues, have had these for a while now and still going strong.I can wear them for 14+ hours easily and don’t hurt or anything. The sound is amazing and they look good too. Good size fit to the head and fully adjustable. Cover your ears but you can still hear things around you or people calling your name etc.Cable is very long and functional so no issues reaching a PC under the desk for example. All in all I would say it’s very good value for money with the quality of these headphones and would recommend them to others.

Overall incredible headphones
Comfortable. Work well with glasses. Get relatively loud. Bass could be slightly improved

Finally bought a pair and...
I'm so so happy!! I've got too many earphones and headphones to count, all good and range in price. But these are just different. The sound, the comfort and the quality is amazing.

Impressed right from the first listen
I just briefly tried them out on a Suzanne Vega album. The detail comes through very well, the bass is controlled and I would describe it as crisp and toneful. As a bassist myself, I can tell immediately that the bass was strung with round-wound strings. They seem comfortable to wear, but more time spent with them will be the real test. I'll update you in a little while. First impressions are that they are good headphones, especially for the price. I've had a few pairs in the past from some of the main brands like Sennheiser and Shure etc and these are the best yet.

Disappointed with the customer service
I received faulty headphones and the right channel was broken. The seller only had return option and I just wanted to replace them. When I tried to contact beyerdynsmic customer service the contact page on their website didn't work. So if I needed to use the warranty or needed any other support the only contact option is email. For that aspect I'd give 1/5.The sound in the left ear was good tho (flat as expected from studio headphones sound 5/5) and the headphones ok when it comes to the comfort of wearing them, I'd say 4/5 in that respect. The overall rating for my experience is 3/5 but I'd give it more if the customer service was better.
